LYSA is excited to introduce our new Developmental League, focused on teaching fundamentals, building confidence, and creating a strong foundation for young athletes.

Program Details: 

• LYSA’s Developmental League is designed to help players build a strong foundation in softball through focused instruction, repetition, and game-like situations. This program emphasizes fundamentals such as throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, and base running, while also building confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.

  Our goal is to provide a positive, structured environment where athletes of all skill levels can learn, grow, and prepare for competitive play—with the opportunity for players to be selected as pickup players for current league teams as needed.

  League Practice Schedule (Sundays):
  Hill Sanders Field at McWhorter Park
  • 10U–14U: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
  • 6U & 8U: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

  Skills Training (Mondays):
  Hinsley Park
  • Pitching: 5:30 PM
  • Catching: 6:30 PM
