Scorekeeping:
The scorekeeper will maintain complete and accurate records of all scoring, penalties, time-outs, and related game action occurring during game. As well as maintain game schedule and keep the games running on time. Return of all records to the program coordinator is the responsibility of the scorekeeper. Additional tasks include monitoring fields and/or gym for safety and crowd control, if necessary. Sports include: basketball, baseball, volleyball, flag football. *Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

- Arriving half an hour before the first scheduled game to familiarize themselves with the score board controller.
- Recording the rosters in the scorebook and keeping a very clean and accurate account of the game.
- Documenting any accident or incident that may occur during the game.
- Cleaning up any trash in the scorekeeper/timer area before leaving the gym.
- Reporting the scores of the games and making sure that officials sign the result sheets.
- Keeping time for timeouts and letting the officials know when the time has expired.

Facility Supervisor:
The Facility Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the facility, personnel, participants, and programs while he/she is on duty. They are also responsible for enforcing all rules and regulations established for the participants and for the operation of the facility under the prescribed operating procedures. While on duty, the Facility Supervisor is the representative of the professional staff and the OKC Parks and Recreation department. He/she will have to take control in emergency situations, settle disputes, and answer inquiries. Common sense, responsibility, dependability, maturity and visibility are keys to being an effective and efficient Facility Supervisor.
- Continually walk around the facility checking all doors to ensure security, observing equipment for defects, observing participants for misuse of equipment or inappropriate conduct.
- Ensure the proper use and care of equipment.
- Ensuring that a safe and equitable environment exists at all times for all participants.
- Recording and reporting of accidents, injuries, and emergency situations.
- Overseeing preparation, usage, and clean-up for special events and other specific programming.
- Maintaining a clean facility.
- Being able to complete tasks efficiently and without close supervision.
- Work closely with other employees such as, but not limited to, Programmers, and Professional Staff.
- Be a supportive team player and leader for OKC Parks and Recreation.

Special Event Staff:
The primary responsibility of the Special Event Staff is to provide general information and assistance to guests and enforce OKC Parks and Recreation policies and procedures. Event staff will interact directly with spectators, participants, vendors and guests and act as the initial point-of-contact. This person will need to be able to solve on the-job issues by utilizing effective critical thinking and decision-making skills and possess the ability to work with diverse populations. Some special events include 5K's, Dog Events, Community Fairs, and much more.

- Set-up and breakdown of the necessary equipment for each event.
- Operational functions may include participant entry verification, table and AV equipment setup, etc.
- Enforcement of OKC Parks and Recreation policies.
- Addressing patron concerns in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Document any incidents and/or injuries.
- Continuous communication with the Program Coordinator of Facilities and Events, provide feedback about event participant behavior, identify common problems and solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Field Maintenance:
The purpose of this job is to perform skilled/manual work functions related to maintenance and operation of the Parks & Recreation Department sports fields. Duties and responsibilities include preparing sports fields for practice and games, performing janitorial/custodial duties, installing and repairing park structures and equipment, and performing a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of the department.

- Performs tasks related to sports field maintenance (e.g. dragging/raking fields; lining/painting fields; etc.)
- Performs services and repairs as needed to maintain sports fields and park facilities
- Provides manual labor functions as directed.
- Operates/maintains equipment used in sports field and park facilities maintenance.
- Performs janitorial and custodial maintenance of recreational facilities grounds and buildings: to include restroom maintenance and trash disposal.
- Prepares set up for a variety of events.
