Coaches Corner

We need you! Help us impact the lives of youth by being a volunteer coach in our sports leagues. The number of volunteer coaches determines the number of participants that can be accepted in a program. If you enjoy working with youth, this is a great way to give back to the community. We're pretty sure you'll have more fun than the kids!

Coaching Requirements

Volunteer coaches are required to complete a few requirements each year, including:

• NEW COACHES ONLY
  • New coaches must complete the National Alliance for Youth Sports online training prior to the start of the season. There is no cost to the coach for this training.  View directions on how to complete the National Alliance for Youth Sports training.
    
    
• ALL COACHES
  • All coaches must annually review and acknowledge understanding of the Coach's Code of Conduct.
  • All coaches must complete an online background check.  You will receive the link to complete this background check after signing up as a coach.  There is no cost to the coach for the online background check.

Additional Training (optional)

• All coaches have an option to view the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Heads Up Concussion Training which provides important information regarding concussion safety.
