Middle School Rowing Program - Fall 2025

Grades 5 - 7

Fall 2025 sessions pick up where the summer left off. We begin to incorporate more challenging workouts while staying focused on continually developing as a rower, improving physical fitness, and strengthening team skills, while working with teammates in a fun and positive environment. November Middle School TRAINING
Due to shorter days, November is a modified schedule (see below); we only row on the weekend, weather permitting. Weekdays are land training (rowing machines, circuits, core) plus video review. We aim to make land training fun and positive but rowers should be ready to push themselves and be excited for a challenge. Please talk to your rower before signing them up to ensure this sounds fun to them. If they only want to row on the water, they should skip November and we'll look forward to seeing them back on the water in March.

Prerequisite

  • MS LTR in past 4 months or, MS Team in past 8 months
  • New to rowing? Start with Learn to Row (MS LTR) May - August. Add to interest list for class/registration updates.
