THE DYCD MIDDLE SCHOOL LEAGUE

The Manhattan Borough League is a free, structured competitive basketball league for boys and girls in Grades 6–8, featuring certified officials, regular season games, playoffs, and borough-wide championships. Hosted at Riverside Church, the league provides student-athletes with organized team play, skill development, and a high-level competitive experience at no cost to families. This program is proudly sponsored by the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) in partnership with Riverside Hawks, helping expand access to quality youth sports opportunities across Manhattan.

League Format
• 5 Regular Season Games (plus Playoffs & Championships)
• Top 2 Teams in Each Division Advance to Borough-Wide Championships (June)
• 10 Boys Teams | 10 Girls Teams
• Certified Officials | Structured Competitive Play
