Children navigating the journey of adoption and foster care often carry unique needs. The Hope for the Journey Conference is your gateway to a wealth of knowledge, understanding, and practical tools to help support children, parents, and families in our community. The Impact Program will be hosting this 7-week series for foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers, as well as professionals working with children who have experienced trauma. The series is a simulcast taught by the amazing trainers from the Karyn Purvis Institute for Childhood Development. We will view a different module each night with in-depth discussion on Trust-Based Relational Intervention and application into our personal or professional lives.
Series runs every Monday from April 15, 2024 to May 20, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm. All materials will be provided. Individuals can attend any number of days, with the opportunity to earn a certificate for up to 14 contact hours of trauma-informed training. Cost to attend is $50 per participant.
