If this goal is not met by the registration deadline, the district may choose to partner with RAPRD for the season. Families are encouraged to register as early as possible to provide the best possible opportunity to keep this grade division in Sisters for the fall season. If the district chooses to partner with RAPRD for the season, families will be notified and provided with an opportunity to receive a full refund of their registration fees. In the event the district's partners with RAPRD, teams will practice in Sisters, and play games in Redmond on Saturdays or Sundays.

RAPRD Partnership
SPRD partners with Redmond Area Park and Recreation District for grades 5-8 during the fall season to provide a more enjoyable experience for players and families. As a small district, SPRD has a limited number of participants in some grade divisions, which would only allow for a few local teams if programs operated solely within SPRD. Historically, this has led to repetitiveness during games, and a lack of enjoyment for both players and families, often competing against the same one to two teams and the same players week after week. Feedback from families has shown that players and families enjoy the opportunity to compete against a wider variety of teams and communities throughout the season. Partnering with RAPRD helps create more balanced leagues, expanded scheduling opportunities, and a more engaging experience for everyone involved.

This program is dependent on volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching a team, please complete a Volunteer Application. If you have any questions about becoming a volunteer coach, please call (541) 549-2091 or email sprd@sistersrecreation.com.
