2026 Boys Volleyball - Spring 2026

BOYS SPRING VOLLEYBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Boys volleyball is open to all boys in 3rd through 8th grade who are parishioners or St. Gertrude School students. Early bird registration of $85 ends on January 20. Regular registration of $110 ends January 31.

TEAMS

• Single grade teams (if there are adequate numbers)
• Combo teams of like grades, if there are too few players in one grade
• Combo teams will play at the "Rec level"

UNIFORMS

• Issued t-shirt as our jersey and coach's choice for shorts - board shorts & Bermudas encouraged!

PRACTICES

• Begin on or after February 16
• Typically one weeknight practice per week

GAMES

• Begin March 9 and end May 3
• Usually played one or two nights per week
• 10 game season in 6 weeks meaning 4 of those weeks have 2 games

TOURNAMENT

• End of season tournament from May 4 through May 8

Track & Field 2026 - Spring 2026

TRACK & FIELD REGISTRATION IS OPEN!  

CYO Track & Field is open to parishioners and students of St. Gertrude from grades K-8.  Additional associated parishes are invited per the CYO neighboring parish rule.

Meets K to 6th are instructional in nature while 7th and 8th grade meets are scored.  

Events:

K-2:  50m, 75m, 100m, 200, 4x100m relay - Long Jump and Softball throw.

Grades 3-4:  50m, 75m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m relay, 4x200m relay - Long Jump, High Jump, Shot/Softball Throw.

Grades 5-6:  75m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 4x100 relay, 4x200m relay, 4x400m relay - Long Jump, High Jump, Shot put and Discus.  

Grades 7-8:  100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 4x100m Relay, 4x200m Relay, 4x400m Relay, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot put and Discuss.

We will not participate in the CYO meets scheduled on March 27th and March 28th.  Our first meets will be April 10th and April 11th. 

St. Gertrude hosts its inaugural meet this season.  It is on April 10th & 11th at St. Xavier.  Parents are asked to volunteer to make this a successful event.  More information to come.  

2025/26 Girls Basketball Celebration - Annual 2026

Congratulations to all of our teams on a great basketball season!  Let's get together to celebrate! 

Who: Athlete and Parent(s) / Guardians - Sorry, we can not accommodate siblings at this event. You are welcome to drop your daughter off.

Time: 6:30-8pm

Where: St. Gertrude School cafeteria

What to bring: Drinks for your family and a dessert to share.

Coaching Volunteers - Annual 2025
