ADULT PICKLEBALL LEAGUE

Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation offers adult pickle ball leagues in the spring, summer, and fall.  The divisions offered are Beginner, Intermediate Mixed Doubles, Intermediate Women's, and Advanced Men's. No matter the level, we have something that fits what you are looking for! 

  • When:  Fall 2024, Sept. 3/5, 2024 
  • Location:  Woodson Gym  
  • Ages: 18+
  • Price: $35/player; $70/team
  • Registration Deadline:  August 24th, 2024 @ 11pm
  • Awards: 1st and 2nd place
  • Equipment Provided: Nets and balls
  •   Players are required to wear non-marking indoor court shoes and bring a pickleball paddle

League Information:

Format of League Play:  

  • Each league will be comprised of 12 players who will play 9 games in 90 minutes across 3 courts.  
  • 4 players on each court will internally rotate to play with all players on their court before changing to another court or group of players. (Round Robin Style) 
  • Dedicated Partner Leagues Play three 3-game matches against 3 different opponents each night. 
  • 3 games to 15 points will be played on each court using rally scoring (receiving or serving side will make a point). 
  • Player rankings will be based on individual percentage and players are required to play a minimum of 6 of the 8 weeks of scheduled league play.

    Please note: Dedicated Partners Leagues will have one person register for both players and pay for both people.

    • Beginner (2.5/3.0) (Round-Robin): 9/3/2024 - (Tuesdays) 6:15pm - 7:45pm at Woodson Gym
      • Pickleball in a league format for beginning and or recreational players who have a basic understanding of the rules and concepts of the game with the ability to keep score, serve and volley with other players while enjoying the social aspect of the sport.  

    • Women's Intermediate (3.0/3.5) (Round-Robin): 9/5/2024 - (Thursdays) 6:15pm - 7:45pm at Woodson Gym
      • Advanced Beginner and Intermediate Pickleball players who are interested in fine tuning their skills, improving consistency, and developing their game strategy while sustaining a rally with players of comparable skills in a league format.  

    • Intermediate Mixed Doubles Dedicated Partners (3.0/3.5): 9/3/2024 - (Tuesdays) 8:00pm - 9:30pm at Woodson Gym
      • A dedicated partner league format for Pickleball players who are ready for competitive play while improving game strategy and consistency by implementing skills like the 3rd shot drop, soft shots, drives and crosscourt dinks.  
    • Men's Advanced Dedicated Partners (3.5+): 9/5/2024 - (Thursdays) 8:00pm - 9:30pm at Woodson Gym
      • A dedicated partner league. League play formatted for very competitive players with advanced skills who play consistently in all phases of the game.  Players who exhibit a high degree of patients and communication during prolonged rallies and who can successfully counter and adapt to different strategies employed by opponents will enjoy this competitive league.
  • League Format: 8 Week schedule

League Rules:

League operator reserves the right to change dates and location of games. All games cancelled during the regular season due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, will be made up during the season. However, if needed, we can change the park site, day, or time in order to make up all games.
