U16 Recreational Soccer Group Overview

This age group provides the opportunity for boys and girls to continue to develop soccer skills and teamwork in a stress free environment. Teams are typically organized by gender and age. This age group will participate in the SEPA Recreational Soccer league.   

  • Teams practice once or twice a week at the discretion of the coach, generally held at the Deep Run Complex or at a satellite complex, such as the Fairhill complex.   
  • Games will take place on Friday night, Saturday or Sunday beginning in April and running through June. 
  • Players will be playing 11 vs 11 in this age group with goalies and referees.   
  • Referees will be calling offsides, and fouls. 
  • All players will play for at least half of the game. 
  • Games consists of two 35 min halves. 
  • Substitutions are unlimited. 
  • Players will play with size 5 soccer ball.
