Youth Basketball - Winter 2024

Platte City Parks and Recreation is excited to offer recreational youth basketball! This program is open to boys and girls in grades 3 through 6 of ALL skills levels. We are a recreational program and focus on learning and fun! The season begins in early November and will run through the end of February with a possible tournament taking place after. PCPR partners with multiple cities in the area and travel will be involved. Practices will be held during the week, with games taking place on Saturdays. PCPR will provide a jersey to each player. Join us for a winter of learning and fun!

Youth Coed Soccer - Fall 2024

Platte City Parks and Recreation is offering a recreational soccer league open to children preschool to 8th grade of all skill levels. PCPR will provide a jersey and and of season medal. Parents will provide socks and shin guards, and a ball is optional (size 3 ball prek-2nd, size 4 ball 3rd-8th). PCPR partners with Smithville Parks and Recreation for the 5th-8th grade divisions (if needed), which includes some travel for games.

Youth Volleyball - Fall 2024

Platte City Parks and Recreation is offering a recreational youth volleyball league open to children 3rd grade through 6th grade of all skill levels. PCPR will provide a jersey and end of season medal. Parents will provide knee pads. PCPR partners with Smithville Parks & Recreation and Kearney Parks & Recreation, which includes some travel for games.
