Adult Co-Ed Volleyball - Winter 2025

Platte City Parks and Recreation is now accepting team sign ups for Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League! Games will be held on Sundays beginning February 16th at Platte City Middle School. Games will be played between 3pm and 7pm. The season will include 8 game weeks, ending on April 13th. Only one person per team will need to complete the sign up and pay the team registration fee. No current college or high school volleyball players may participate. Rosters must have at least 6 participants and no more than 15 per team. Rosters will need to be submitted to the league by 1/24. This league is recreational and intended to promote physical activity and fun! Please reach out to afarag@plattecity.org with any questions!

Youth Basketball - Winter 2024

Platte City Parks and Recreation is excited to offer recreational youth basketball! This program is open to boys and girls in grades 3 through 6 of ALL skills levels. We are a recreational program and focus on learning and fun! The season begins in early November and will run through the end of February with a possible tournament taking place after. PCPR partners with the following communities: East Buchanan, Mid Buchanan, Dekalb, North Platte, West Platte, Lathrop, Lawson, Plattsburg, and Smithville. Some travel will be involved. Practices will be held during the week, with games taking place on Saturdays. PCPR will provide a jersey to each player, parents will provide shorts and shoes. Join us for a winter of learning and fun!
