Youth Coed Soccer - Spring 2025

Platte City Parks and Recreation is offering a recreational soccer league open to children preschool to 8th grade of all skill levels. PCPR will provide a jersey and an end-of-season medal. Parents will provide socks and shin guards, and a ball is optional (size 3 ball prek-2nd, size 4 ball 3rd-8th). If your child is a scholarship participant, please email recreation@plattecity.org to apply scholarship. All games and practices will be held at Platte Ridge Park. This league will promote teaching and fun for coaches and players!

Platte City Parks and Recreation is happy to offer youth baseball this spring! This league is open to all experience levels, with an emphasis on learning and fun. Games are played on Monday-Thursday, although the specific days for each age group will not be known until after registration is closed. Platte City partners with Smithville and Kearney Parks and Recreation so there will be some travel involved for games. Each team is guaranteed 6 games throughout the season. Parents must provide a glove for their child. Bats and helmets are recommended but not required. Our recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches so please sign up as a volunteer if interested!

Games are played on Monday-Thursday at Harrel Ferrel Park in Platte City. Each team is guaranteed 6 games throughout the season. Parents must provide a glove for their child. Bats and helmets are recommended but not required. Our recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches so please sign up as a volunteer if interested!

Adult Co-Ed Volleyball - Winter 2025

Platte City Parks and Recreation is now accepting team sign ups for Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League! Games will be held on Sundays beginning February 16th at Platte City Middle School. Games will be played between 3pm and 7pm. The season will include 8 game weeks, ending on April 13th. Only one person per team will need to complete the sign up and pay the team registration fee. No current college or high school volleyball players may participate. Rosters must have at least 6 participants and no more than 15 per team. Rosters will need to be submitted to the league by 1/24.
