Facility Rules and Regulations

Deposits:

  • $200 deposit and all paperwork for each rented facility is required 14 days prior to event date to secure reservations of the Sports Complex.
  • Deposits will be taken out of field rental prices unless it is deemed necessary to keep deposit. (i.e. damage to facility, trashed complex, rules broken, etc.)

Rules:

  • Lights must be turned off and all doors/gates must be locked upon leaving park. A key box code will be provided to you 24 hours before the event. Keys must be placed back in the key box after the event. Any lost keys or damage to the key box may result in loss of your deposit.
  • If there is any damage to the park or trash left in the facility then you may not receive a refund of your deposit.
  • A rental day represents the following times (7:00am-11:00pm) Minimum rental period is one day.
  • Loud and vulgar music is prohibited at all City parks.
  • Alcoholic beverages, smoking, vaping and tobacco products are prohibited at all City parks.
  • No pets or glass
  • Only authorized vehicles are okay to enter inside the park area. 
  • NO BICYCLES, SCOOTERS, SKATEBOARDS OR ANY MOTORIZED VEHICLES ALLOWED IN THE GATES OR ON THE FIELD.
  • All practices, games and/or events shall be scheduled through, and approved by, the Bay Minette Recreation Department at least two weeks prior to the event to ensure field availability, proper setup and preparation, and to allow for maintenance scheduling.
  • Agreements may be cancelled for violation of City Policies and Procedures.
  • Personal coolers are NOT allowed. A maximum of two TEAM coolers may be used with proper identification.
  • Do not throw or hit balls into park fencing (No Fence Drills).
  • No game/competition shall start before 7:00am or after 10:59pm.
  • The BMRD shall provide concession based on the number of teams/people expected.
  • No outside food or beverage is allowed other than team coolers which must be authorized in advance.
  • Hours of operation for concessions are 9:00am – 9:00pm for any booked event. Please note that events running past 9:00pm may not have concessions.
  • Concession hours are subject to change upon approval of the BMRD.
  • Cancellations within seven (7) business days of a scheduled event will result in a forfeiture of all fees, including Security Deposit. Cancellations within fourteen (14) days of a scheduled event will result in forfeiture of Security Deposit.
  • All Rental fees are due no later than 7 days before the tournament.
  • For event dates to be booked, a rental agreement and deposit must be placed and approved by the BMRD.
  • Renters are responsible for adhering to and enforcing all Park Rules. If not followed, this may result in a loss of deposit. 
  • NO STEEL CLEATS ALLOWED!
