A graduate of Ingleside High School class of 1999, Coach Younk has been associated with Ingleside youth basketball on & off for the last 24 years in some kind of capacity, being a board member, an official, and a coach. He was quoted this evening with “I have a passion in seeing our youth grow in the game of basketball, and more importantly, in life in general. I look forward to working with our youth to assist in their journey of this game that we love.” Mr. Younk has Coached players and teams at every level of basketball, he has won multiple championships, as well as coached multiple All Star teams for Ingleside's youth basketball leagues over the last 2 decades! We are fully convinced that we have selected the best individual to guide our league to the next level going forward!!! Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome President Steven Younk!!
Mr. Sierra has been vice president of MYBA since its inception in 2020. He is currently a health care administrator but has been involved with youth sports for 18 years. Although he loves his career, he has a passion for helping his community through youth sports programs. He had the pleasure of coaching several youth teams. Coach Sierra has won multiple MYBA champion titles and has won 5 All Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️championships as well!!!!! He firmly believes that youth is where it all starts, because that's where his competitiveness and love for sports started for him. His philosophy is simple. Work hard, no excuses, and never settle. Look for opportunities to always better your game, no matter what age. That's why he is excited to continue to be part of the MYBA league. In the words of the great Kobe Bryant "Great things come from hard work and perseverance, no excuses!" Mamba Mentality!
Mr. Williams has been coaching for 13 years and with 5 years for Ingleside High School. He is currently the head boys soccer coach and assistant coach for Ingleside High School varsity football. He has also been on the MYBA board since its inception in 2020. He has 5 basketball championships and 4 MYBA championships.
Jonathan Heyward has lived in Ingleside for the past 17 years. Since residing in Ingleside he has volunteered as a coach for both Ingleside Little League and MYBA. He has also been a board member for MYBA since the its inception in 2020. Jonathan is employed by Coastal Plains Integrated Health where he oversees the day to day operations for adult mental health services.
Mrs. Stribling has been married for 15 years and has 3 boys. She is dedicated to her family and is a very outgoing person. She is also a very hard working person. Mrs. Stribling has been a board member since 2023.
Coach Younk has been coaching for 12 years in every sport in the Ingleside area!!! He has been affiliated and a very big part of the youth basketball organization since 2012. He currently coaches for MYBA, has coached football, and serves as one of the youth directors of the coastal bend youth bowling . He has 2 kids both in the MYBA. He is looking forward to the growth and development of this amazing group of young kids. Coach Reyna has been coaching youth sports for over seven years, working with athletes in MYBA basketball, IYFL football, flag football, t-ball, baseball, and soccer. He is passionate about developing young players both on and off the field, emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence in every sport he coaches. He is a proud parent of three — ages 9, 5, and 7 months — Coach Reyna understands the value of creating a positive, encouraging environment where every child can learn, compete, and grow. His coaching philosophy centers on teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and consistent effort, believing that lessons learned through sports shape character for life. Basketball is Coach Reyna’s favorite sport, and his passion for the game is driven by his admiration for Michael Jordan. He lives by Jordan’s famous quote: “I’ve failed over and over again in my life. That is why I succeed.” Let’s welcome Coach Reyna! New Board Member!!!
She is an Ingleside alumni who has been part of Ingleside basketball since the 4th grade, you can even find her name on one of the showcase basketballs by the concession stand. She graduated in 2006 with a softball scholarship, and today she is proud to watch her own children play for Ingleside while her husband Coach Will coaches for the district. She was the Family Matters award winner last February and currently serves as the school nurse at Gilbert J. Mircovich Elementary!! Over the years she has coached multiple sports in the Ingleside community. She also had the privilege of being the President of the PTO at GJM for 2 years! She is excited to continue giving back and look forward to being an active part of the MYBA community.

One of our newest members, Brittany Chrisman!!!! She is a kindergarten teacher at IPS. She loves riding horses, running, gardening, reading and supporting her kids in all their sports and activities. She married to her high school sweetheart, Travis! They have three daughters, Ella, Ivy and Emilia - all of them MYBA players! She is so excited to be a part of such a strong team!
