ABOUT THE LEAGUE!

Sienna Youth Volleyball League is a recreational volleyball league rooted in providing youth with a fundamentally sound volleyball experience. While winning at all costs is not the goal in Sienna Youth Volleyball, encouraging participants to learn to be competitive in a fair, healthy and team-first manner is critical to the league experience. Our league is volunteer-based. No coaches are compensated for their time, but commit it out of their love for community and youth growth and development. We encourage volunteerism, as it is the lifeblood of our organization!

WHERE DO WE PLAY?

Games (including tournament) and practices are all primarily held at Baines Middle School, Restoration City Life Center, Divine Savior Academy, and Thornton Middle School. All league play (barring unforeseen circumstances) will take place within Sienna.

WHEN DO WE PLAY?

Spring league registration usually begins in Mid-December and ends in March. Spring league season begins in late March and ends in May. Teams are assigned a practice time and location and games are on Saturdays.

Fall league registration usually begins in Mid-May and ends in August. Fall league season begins in September and ends in October. Teams are assigned a practice time and location and games are on Saturdays.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

CAN I GET A DISCOUNT FOR REGISTERING MULTIPLE PLAYERS? CAN I GET A DISCOUNT IF I AGREE TO COACH A TEAM?

There are no discounts for registering multiple players. There are no discounts for the children of coaches---but we are EXTREMELY appreciative of our volunteers!

CAN MY CHILD PLAY ON THE SAME TEAM AS OUR NEIGHBOR / FRIEND / FAMILY MEMBER?

We are not able to accommodate "buddy" requests to play with specific friends or neighbors. The only teammate requests we can guarantee are siblings, persons living in the same household, or players with whom a homebound parent or guardian is involved.

I WANT MY CHILD TO PLAY ON THE SAME TEAM / WITH THE SAME COACH THEY HAD LAST YEAR. IS THAT POSSIBLE?

Teams do not roll over from year-to-year and coaches do not always return. Even if they do, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for the same coach / teammates as had in previous seasons.

MY CHILD CAN ONLY PRACTICE / PLAY ON SPECIFIC DAYS, AT SPECIFIC TIMES. IS IT POSSIBLE TO WORK AROUND MY SCHEDULE?

Unfortunately, no. With the number of participants in our leagues, we simply don't have the ability to accommodate everyone's schedule requests.

WE DON'T LIVE IN SIENNA. CAN WE STILL SIGN UP?

Yes, absolutely! Non-residents are welcome in all of our youth leagues! We have resident and non-resident participation rates.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED AND I FORGOT TO REGISTER! HELP!
