ABOUT THE LEAGUE!

The Sienna Adult Basketball League is a co-ed basketball league exclusively for Sienna adult basketball enthusiasts of all skill levels! You don't have to be a NBA all-star to play: just love making new friends, meeting your neighbors and enjoy some friendly competition are the only real requirements! Make no mistake, we love to compete---but all skill levels are welcome. This league is a registration by team, but we try to accommodate as many free agents (individual registrants) as possible.

WHERE DO WE PLAY?

Games are held at Restoration City Life Center.

WHEN DO WE PLAY?

We play one season a year during the Winter.

The Adult Winter Basketball League registration usually begins in August and ends in January. Winter league season begins in January and ends in February. Should teams elect to practice, they must identify their own practice locations and games are on Sundays.

The regular season is usually 6 games long with a post-season tournament on the 7th week.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN BE ON MY ROSTER?

A maximum of ten (10) players, including a team captain, will be permitted on a team roster.

Each team must have a minimum of seven (7) players, with a minimum of three (3) women.

Games are played with five (5) players on the court, including a minimum of two (2) women on the court at all times.

Games may be played with a minimum of four (4) players, two men / two women.

MY FRIEND DOESN'T LIVE IN SIENNA. CAN THEY STILL PLAY?

No. Sienna's adult leagues are limited to Sienna residents only.

DO WE HAVE TO HAVE MATCHING UNIFORMS / JERSEYS?

Yes! Teams are required to have reversible jerseys, one white side (home) and one colored side (away), with legible numbers on both the front and back of the jerseys. Numbers made with tape will not be permitted.

WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PLAYERS FOR OUR GAME. CAN WE RESCHEDULE?

No. Unfortunately, if you are not able to provide enough players for the game, you will be required to forfeit your game.
