Rosemeade Practice Area Rules and Regulations
Only teams under 10 years of age that are registered with one of the recognized youth baseball, softball, or soccer associations in Carrollton may reserve a practice area at no cost.
Each practice area can be rented for soccer, baseball or softball.
All practice areas have a soccer goal and practice areas 1 & 5 contain backstops (no batting practice).
Each team is limited to 1 hour per week. Practice times will be set by the Parks Department depending on the time of year.
The practice areas can be reserved Monday – Friday and are first come, first serve on Saturday & Sunday. Lights have been added to the areas, but will only be turned on as necessary for a scheduled practice.
Reservations can be made up to 2 weeks prior to each season through the end of the season.
All reservations must go through the Parks Maintenance Department and must be made at least one day in advance
Practice area parking is designated in the lot south of the playground, adjacent to the Rosemeade Rainforest. Restrooms are available in the Rosemeade Rec Center, during normal hours of operation.
All reservations will be made using the form below and must be submitted using the head coach's information. The coach's name, team name and age division will be verified with each league prior to confirming the reservation.
By completing this form you understand the following:
- Our group and I agree to obey all policies set forth by the City and the Parks & Recreation Department
- We are liable for any damages caused to City property during our use.
- It is our responsibility to call the rainout line (972-695-2355) or check the practice area status under "Carrollton Athletics" on the Rainout Line app. Our rental could be cancelled due to closures or weather. Cancelled practices will not be rescheduled.
