Please note: Late football registrants will not have the opportunity to select their uniform number or have their last name printed on their uniform.

Enrollment is not considered complete until all three (3) mandatory registration forms (Link to Forms) and the equipment deposit + parent volunteer deposit have both been submitted.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • What is the minimum age to play?: A football player must be six (6) years old on or before August 1 of the current season year in order to register for the 8U division.
  • Where do I find registration forms?: The three (3) mandatory registration forms are located on our website under the Registration tab, then Forms. You may also access them directly by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://teamsideline.com/sites/cbjrfalcons/content/1028/Forms
  • Where do I turn in deposit checks?: Checks for the $350 volunteer deposit and the $350 equipment deposit must be submitted to the Football Registrar no later than the second week of practice. These checks will not be cashed and will be held until the end of the season. Upon confirmation that all football equipment has been returned and all required volunteer hours have been completed, both checks will be returned.
  • Can my player use their own equipment?: Yes. Players may use a personal helmet and shoulder pads instead of the items provided by CBJF. However, due to California law, annual NOSCAE helmet certification is required before a player can participate in sanctioned events. Personal helmets must match color specifications of team and be painted by a certified company prior to the start of the season.
  • When will my player receive equipment?: CBJF requires 10 hours of non-contact conditioning before players can wear full equipment (helmets, shoulder pads, etc.) and progress to contact drills. Attending all practices is crucial to safely acclimating to the heat and rigorous demands of tackle football. Players WILL NOT be allowed to receive their equipment until this requirement is met.
  • How many volunteer hours are required?: Each family is required to complete twelve (12) parent volunteer hours per season. If you are the parent of more than 1 registrant, you are only required to complete 12 volunteer hours.
  • Can I buyout of my volunteer hours?: Families who wish to buy out of the required parent volunteer hours may do so by either adding the Volunteer Buyout Fee of $350 to their cart upon check out or with a payment in person to our football registrar.
