Painting Class 5/10/26 - Spring 2026

Join us for a fun afternoon of painting on Sunday May 10th, 2026 from 3:30-5:30pm.  All supplies and step-by-step instruction are included! The painting is still to be determind.  Cost is $25 per person.

Candy Jar Gnome Craft Class - Spring 2026

Join us May 27th to create your very own candy jar gnome. The cost is $8 per gnome and includes all supplies and step-by-step instruction (candy not included). Please register multiple times if you would like to make more than one gnome. This class is for children ages 12+ and adults. 

Kids Yoga - Spring 2026

Help your little ones discover the joy of movement and mindfulness! Our fun and engaging kids' yoga classes are the perfect way to build focus, flexibility, and confidence. Each week features a unique, age-appropriate theme designed to spark your child's imagination while they learn basic yoga poses in a supportive space. The Spring 2026 session is 6-weeks long and begins May 5th, 2026. NO CLASS 6/2/36. Last class 6/16/26. Cost is $45 for ages 3-5 and $50 for Ages 6-9.

• Ages 3-5: Tuesdays, 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM
• Ages 6-9: Tuesdays, 2:15 PM - 3:00 PM

2026 Summer Day Camp - Summer 2026

Join us for games, arts and crafts, science projects, walking field trips, and more! FULL WEEK and SINGLE DAY options available! CLICK "MORE INFO" FOR DATES & PRICING. T-Shirt included if you enroll by June 22nd!

Details:

• Camp Dates: August 3rd-7th & August 10th-14th, 8:30am-4:00pm
• Location: Multipurpose Center (the library building) 202 Washington Ave. S in Orting
• Cost: $185 entire week (Mon-Fri), $45 single day. Enjoy early registration discounts thru April 30th!
• Extended pick-up from 4-5:30pm available.
• Please send your child with a lunch and water.  We will provide snacks.
• This program is for children ages 5-12. Ages 14+ can volunteer as camp counselors!

Activities/Schedule: Each day of camp kids will participate in art, science, nature, music, water activities, and free play.  WATER PLAY WILL BE ON WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS. 

Wiggles & Giggles, Ages 3-5 - Spring 2026

Join us Fridays from 11:15-12pm and tumble, dance and giggle your way through this fun movement class for preschoolers.  Participants will learn simple tumbling and dance techniques.  Parent participation may be required at first class. Cost is $54 per 6-week session, $45 per 5-week session.

• The Spring 1 2026 session has 6 classes. First class 3/13/26. NO class 4/10/26 (OSD Spring Break). Last class 4/24/26.
• The Spring 2 2026 session has 5 classes. First class 5/1/26. NO class 5/22/26 (Memorial weekend). Last class 6/5/26.

Playgroup, Ages 0-5 - Spring 2026

Join us every Monday from 10:30-11:30am for free-play and other activities for ages 0-5!  A variety of toys, crafts, and other activities will be set up each week. PARENT MUST REMAIN ON SITE.  Advance registration is required and occurs on a monthly basis.  Cost is $5 per participant per month. Class takes place in the Multipurpose Room at the Orting Library, located at 202 Washington Ave. S. in Orting.

Music Class, Ages 2-5 - Spring 2026

We now have two time slots for this class! 10:00-10:30 and 10:45-11:15am.

Join us Thursdays for musical fun! Kids will learn about music through singing, moving and exploring using finger play, nursery rhymes, music games, and instrument exploration. Parent must remain on site.  Cost is $38 per child. Classes take place at the Multipurpose Center located at the Orting Library.

• The Spring 2026 Session is 6 weeks long with 6 classes.  *UPDATED* First class begins April 23rd, 2026.

Adult Dance Fitness - Spring 2026

In this SHiNE Dance Fitness class you'll move to the beat, burn calories, and have a blast!  Learn simple fitness routines to the latest hits and favorites from across the decades! All ages (18+) and fitness levels welcome! This class takes place at the Multipurpose Center (the library building) located at 202 Washington Ave. S. in Orting on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00pm. The cost is $51 per 6-week session. $9 per drop-in.

• The Spring 1 2026 session will have 6 classes. First class April 14th, 2026.
• The Spring 2 2026 session will have 6 classes. First class May 26th, 2026.

We also offer a "drop-in" option for this class! You still must register and pay prior to class. Please show your order conformation at class.

Line Dancing - Tuesdays - Spring 2026

Join us Tuesday nights and learn how to line dance!  Line dances will range from beginner to intermediate level. All ages (18+) and fitness levels welcome! This is a great way to get moving, make friends, and have fun! Class takes place at the Multipurpose Center (the library building) located at 202 Washington Ave. S. in Orting on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00pm. Cost is $51 per 6-week session. $9 per drop-in.

Strength Fitness Class - Spring 2026

This class includes weight training and abdominal work. Participants should bring a set of medium/heavy weights (1-10lbs) if possible, water bottle, hand towel, and a yoga mat. After a quick warm up, strength work will include alternating between upper body and lower body weightlifting exercises set to music. Then we will bring out our mats to complete our session on the floor with some abdominal work and stretching. All ages (18+) and abilities welcome!

This class takes place every THURSDAY from 6:00-7:00pm at the Multipurpose Center (the library building) located at 202 Washington Ave. S. in Orting. The cost is $34 per 4-week session. $9 per drop-in.

April dates: 4/2, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30 (NO CLASS 4/9/26)

May dates: 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28

June dates: 6/4, 6/11, 6/18, 6/25

Beginner Yoga - Spring 2026

This beginner friendly yoga flow class provides a great opportunity to practice your asanas (poses) with other yogis, as well as stretch and move in a welcoming environment. The class is vinyasa style, which includes moving through poses seamlessly, holding each pose for a few breaths, with a variety of restful poses incorporated to allow participants opportunities to rest or modify movements as needed. Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle; you may also bring a large towel or small blanket and/or yoga blocks if you have them. All ages (18+) and abilities welcome.

This class takes place every FIRST & THIRD THURSDAY of the month from 7:00-8:00pm at the Multipurpose Center (the library building) located at 202 Washington Ave. S. in Orting. The cost is $9 per class.

Event Vendor - 4th of July Festival - Summer 2026

This enrollment is only for individuals and businesses that would like to be added as vendors for the City of Orting's 4th of July Festival.  This enrollment is NOT for Food or Beverage vendors! *Please note this is a combined event with the Orting Valley Farmers Market - Market vendors from the farmers market will be setup in the North Park in addition to vendors from this enrollment in the Main City Park. Please contact malfiere@cityoforting.org or call (253) 262-7842 for food vendor inquiries and questions.

• Date & Location: July 4th, 2026, 11:00am-4:00pm, Orting Main City Park, 101 Train St. SW, Orting 98360
• Set-up begins at 9:00am on July 4th. Vendor placement will be at the discretion of the city.
• Orting business license NOT required.
• $25 Vendor Fee guarantees one 10' by 10' space. Register multiple times if you require more space.
• Event takes place outdoors, rain or shine.
• THE CITY DOES NOT LIMIT THE AMOUNT OR TYPE OF VENDORS FOR THIS EVENT.  If your organization does not allow duplicate representatives at events, please contact the city BEFORE you register.
• This enrollment is NOT for food/beverage vendors.  Please email malfiere@cityoforting.org for information.

Portable Restroom Rental (1 unit) - Annual 2026

This enrollment is to pay for a portable restroom unit to be placed at your Special Event or Trail Event.  If you would like more than one unit, please register multiple times. You must submit either the corresponding Special Event Application or Trail Use Application in addition to this enrollment. Please note this fee is non-refundable. Spring Youth Soccer Ages 3-9 - Spring 2026

REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRARY 16, 2026! VOLUNTEER ENROLLMENT OPEN NOW.

This program is for kids 3-9 years old.  Spring '26 season begins April 13th, 2026.

Practices take place for 3 weeks, followed by 5 weeks of games. Note: Age 3 bracket program will be 6 weeks total. For Age 3 & 4-5, practices and games will Mondays & Wednesdays. For ages 6-7 & 8-9 practices and games will be Tuesdays & Thursdays. NO GAMES 5/25/26.

Cost: $45 per child for Age 3, $60 per child for age 4-5 & 6-7.  VOLUNTEER COACHES RECEIVE ONE FREE ENROLLMENT! After approval, you will receive a coupon code to use when enrolling your child. Teams are made up of 6-8 players randomly grouped by Orting Recreation.
