Our primary purpose is to assist families with the cost of sports registration. One of Kade's favorite things to do was cheer his brothers and uncles on at baseball, football, and basketball games. This love of watching them turned into a yearning to play and he started out on the Tiny Tots field! When Kade wasn't watching or playing, he could always be found at the concession stand batting his eyes for one more snack and he ALWAYS got it! In 2017 he went home to heaven and left behind so many that loved him which is how Play For Kade began.

 We started by paying the registration fees for several kids to play baseball or softball in Cleveland, followed by helping with football, in 2018.  The following year, we were able to expand and help kids in Cleveland, Tarkington, Liberty, and Shepherd. In 2020 we have continued to expand our area of help and the varieties of sports. Covid has closed many youth football leagues that season so we took the money budgeted for it and purchased school supplies for local schools and treats for teachers. We will always find a way to give back.  

 To qualify for help, there is a short form. Funds are available on a first come basis and we will only award one time per child. Many of our members have contacts to also assist with finding equipment at a low price to continue helping offset the cost for families.  For help, please complete the form below.
