Escalon Youth Scholarship 

  • Income Based- Up to $400 per year per family 
  • All City of Escalon youth sports programs are eligible; classes and sports clinics are excluded.
  • The address of the household applying for the scholarship must be located within either the Escalon Unified School District or the Valley Home School area.
  • Scholarship ends June 30, 2025; when a family has reached the $400 limit; or when the scholarship fund has been depleted, whichever occurs first.

All Kids Play

  • Individual Grants: Funding for families with kids in grades K-12 who lack the financial resources for youth sports (e.g., registration, equipment, fees).
  • Qualification Criteria: Must meet income guidelines based on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) income thresholds. 
  • Full and Partial Grants: Available depending on household income (less than 60% of the state median for full grants, and below the state median for partial grants).

MLS GO PLAY FUND &  NFL FLAG FUND 

Financial assistance for MLS GO (soccer) participants nationwide. 

 To be eligible for financial assistance, your annual household income must be less than the median national average of $80,610*, and the participant must be enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP or WIC. Proof of both will be required. 

Funding is only provided for participants of MLS GO (soccer) or NFL FLAG (flag football) programs and funds will not be provided for other  programs.
