  10. The game will begin by placing 6 dodgeballs on the center line. Players will take position touching their respective back lines
  11. When whistle is blown, each team will sprint to the center to retrieve balls
  12. Once the balls are retrieved at the center, the balls must touch the respective players back line, this can be done so by running back and touching the line or throwing it back to a teammate on the line, or a player rebounds the ball off the back wall
  13. Players must remain in their respective areas- behind the center line on their side of the court
  14. Players may leave the court to retrieve a dead ball, but may not cross center court. A player may reach across center court, but may not step on or across the center line
  15. A player may defend himself using another dodgeball. However, a player is out if, when defending with a ball, the live ball touches any part of that player or the ball is dropped
  16. Anytime a thrown ball hits any part of a player’s head, the ball is dead and that player remains in the game
  17. If a player catches a live ball, the “thrower” is out and everyone hit by the thrown ball remains in.
  18. If momentum carries a player out of bounds while making a catch, the player is not out as long as they had control of the ball before going out of bounds
  19. The first player out from a team that another player on the team catches a ball may reenter the game. Players must reenter in the order that they were put out
