Girls U14 & U19 Wisconsin 9v9 Indoor Soccer Championships - Winter 2025

The Girls U14 & U19 Wisconsin 9v9 Indoor Soccer Championships will be played at the new Greenheck Turner Community Center January 25, 2025.  Teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 130 minutes of soccer.  Join us for all of the action!

When: January 25, 2025

Who: Girls U14 & Girls U19
Roster Size: 10 to 17 players per team
Fee: Registration fee of $475 per team
Field Size: 45yd wide x 70yd long with regulation markings including goal box & penalty area.

*Register early, only 8 teams will be accepted!

Wisconsin 4v4 Turf Wars Soccer Tournament - Winter 2025

Join us for the 1st Annual Wisconsin 4v4 Turf Wars Soccer Tournament on Saturday, February 8th!  All games will be played at the new Greenheck Turner Community Center, Wisconsin's premier indoor facility.  Teams will be guaranteed a minimum of (4) 25-minute games.

Who: Separate Boys and Girls divisions - U10, U12, U14, U16, U19
Roster Size: 5 to 8 players per team
Fee: Registration of $125 per team.  Deadline to register is Tuesday, January 21st @ 11pm!

Rib Mountain Rampage - Winter 2025

Introducing the Rib Mountain Rampage! The first Olympic 6's style lacrosse tournament in the area for high school level players!  Come experience this fast paced and exciting style of lacrosse on Saturday, March 1, 2025.  It is a perfect opportunity for players to get back in the mix, regain their speed, connect with teammates and increase awareness/agility as the 2025 season begins.

Separate divisions will be offered for Girls Varsity, Girls JV, Boys Varsity, Boys JV with all teams guaranteed 3 games of at least 40 minutes of play.  Expect energized, intense competition as players face off 6 v 6 in (4) 8-minute quarters.  One draw per quarter and play continues with a goalie's clear following a goal.  This keeps the game running at full speed, providing real game experience with maximum player touches.

Youth Softball Clinic - Winter 2025

Join us for an exciting Youth Softball Clinic designed for players of all skill levels!  This clinic focuses on teaching essential softball skills, fostering a love for the game, and encouraging teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. 

Who Can Join:  Players currently in Kindergarten through 8th Grade are welcome to participate, whether they're just starting or looking to sharpen their skills.

Tyke Time - Fall 2024

Roll, bounce, jump and giggle your way around the turf during our Tyke Time program.  Each week your tot will find different and fun ways to express themselves through play.  Tyke Time is open to children 18 months through 5 years of age.

Pre-registration is required, no drop-ins.  Socks are required for bounce houses.  All Tyke Time sessions will take place at the Greenheck Turner Community Center.

Everest families may already know "Sweet Eats with Sparklez" and now Sparklez has brought her cookbook of kid friendly foods to GTCC!  Cooking with Sparklez is open to children 3 - 10 years old and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  All ingredients, equipment and utensils are provided.

Class fee is $30 per child.  All classes take place at the Greenheck Turner Community Center.

Mess Makers - Fall 2024

Did you know it's ok to make a mess?  GTCC wants to put your kids to the test by calling all Mess Makers!  Each session will dive into the messy arts of glitter, slime, finger painting, play doh and so much more.  You might even want to bring a change of clothes!  Mess Makers is open to children 2 - 10 years old and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Parents Day Out - Fall 2024

Parents, enjoy a few hours to yourself while your child(ren) enjoy a fun filled day of activities at the Greenheck Turner Community Center.  Pre-registration is required.  Open to children 5-12 years old.

Daily fee of $30 per child includes childcare, craft activities, physical activity in the gym, lunch and an interactive cooking experience along with lots of playtime and making new friends.

This program will offer a wide range of movement patterns for all ages that will include flexibility/mobility, power/strength, speed/efficiency within selected patterns.  We will use the planes of motion and will develop an understanding of how the hips and ankles work to make faster, more explosive athletes.  Participants will be engaged while following along with a specific method of training to encourage growth and development in speed and agility.  They will develop body control and movement patterns to help them grow through their high school years.  The goal is to develop better movers.  Must be enrolled in Kindergarten or 1st grade to attend Little Movers.

Preschool 2024-25 - Tuesday/Thursday Class, Age 4-5 - Fall 2024

Description:
We are very excited to offer our preschool program for the upcoming school year! The primary purpose of our program is to provide each child with an opportunity to be exposed to a variety of basic preschool skills including coloring, use of scissors & glue, listening & following directions along with social interactions with other children. Show ‘n tell, story time and snack are also important parts of our daily activities. Children will also be introduced to a variety of literature to enhance reading & readiness skills.

Classes are taught by Cyndi Schaefer and held at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 6404 Old Costa Lane in Weston from 9-11:30am on Tuesdays & Thursdays.  See FAQ's and offerings for specific dates.  Children must be 4 years of age to attend Tuesday/Thursday preschool classes. Children must be potty trained and out of diapers.

Online registration will open on Monday, July 8th.  Registration will remain open until the posted closing date or until a session reaches capacity.

Youth Indoor Soccer - Winter 2025

Format: All Participants will be divided into teams. Each team will meet for 1 hour each Sunday.  Included in that hour will be 15-20 minutes of practice with their coach followed up by a game with another team for the remainder of the hour. 

Our Soccer program is fun for both kids and adults! Parents- your help is greatly appreciated and essential to the success of the program. Please consider becoming involved by volunteering to coach or assistant coach.  No soccer experience is necessary. Please select the volunteer button below to register yourself (or spouse).  Coaches meeting tentatively planned for Thursday, Feb 5th, 2025.  Details will be shared prior to the meeting. 

Location: NEW THIS YEAR!  This program will take place on the Greenheck Turner Community Center Turf Fields!

Future Soccer Stars Clinic - Winter 2025

General Information:  In this clinic we will focus on learning basic skills and fundamentals of soccer.  Enhance the confidence and refresh your young player's skills before the indoor season starts.  Foster an understanding of the basic rules of the game. 

This program is open to any little soccer star that would like to work on their soccer skills. 

Location: Greenheck Turner Community Center - Turf Fields

Girls Basketball Skills & Drills - Winter 2025

Format: Skills practice is necessary for all players, regardless of age and ability. This program will be run as a clinic/camp with coaches providing instruction on the fundamentals of the game. We'll work on ball handling, passing, shooting, layups, teamwork as well as the rules of the game. We'll also introduce game play in the older levels. Instruction will be led by the D.C. Everest high school coaching staff and players.

Location: Greenheck Turner Community Center, some dates will take place at the DC Everest Middle School Gym

Try Lacrosse for Free Clinic - Winter 2025

If your child is interested in learning more about the game of Lacrosse, this is the perfect opportunity.  Come to our 1 Day "Learn Lacrosse for Free" clinic. We will be working on cradling, shooting, individual skill development and conditioning.  We will have a limited amount of sticks available to use during the clinic. 

This program is open to boys and girls in 1st - 8th Grade

Sixes Lacrosse - Winter 2025

Future Lacrosse Heroes - Winter 2025

Program Format: Want to try something new and exciting?  Try the lightning fast sport of SPEED Lacrosse.  Come out and learn the game of Lacrosse at the Greenheck Turner Community Center on the new Turf. A great way to learn the fundamentals of the game including scooping, cradling, passing and shooting all while having a lot of fun. This will be a non-contact program. 

Future Lacrosse Heroes is a Co-Ed league and will include a combination of introductory skills/drills along with weekly small sided lacrosse 4v4 games.  No prior experience is required. 

With limited equipment needed, and sticks provided, why not give it a try?

SNAG Golf Session #1 - Winter 2025

Open to Boys & Girls in 3rd - 5th Grade 
We are excited to offer a SNAG golf classes this winter! SNAG stands for “Starting New At Golf” and is a fun game that is easy to learn and can be played virtually anywhere. SNAG contains all the elements of golf but in a modified form. Falling somewhere between mini-golf and regulation golf, SNAG allows for full shots, pitching, chipping and putting. It is a proven learning & training tool for entry-level golfers and those just looking to have fun!

Classes will be taught by PGA Professional Buck Welsh. SNAG has its own unique set of equipment, suitable for indoor play, and all equipment is provided as part of the lessons. SNAG clubs and balls are much easier for kids to use, making the class enjoyable for everyone. To learn more about SNAG golf, visit the product website at www.snaggolf.com.

Girls Volleyball Skills and Drills - Spring 2025

Instruction will be provided by the D.C Everest coaching staff and players. The clinic is open to 3-6th grade girls of any ability who wish to learn more about this exciting sport. Instruction will include basic skills, strategy and team play.  Skills that will be taught include serving, passing, setting, blocking and defensive strategies.  Participants will also be able to develop their skills in fun game-like situations. 

Location: D.C. Everest Junior High

Dates: Sundays: April 6, 13, 27, and May: 4, 18 (will not meet April 20 & May 11)

Walk-A-Marathon Challenge - Winter 2025

Challenge yourself this winter by walking a marathon!

Format: You have 10 weeks to complete 26. 2 miles on the Greenheck Turner Community Center's new walking track. Registered participants laps will be tracked during the duration of the program. 

You will receive a medal upon completion. 

Benefits of walking include improvements to your cardiovascular health, bone strength and mental health.

Senior Cornhole Ladder league - Winter 2025

GENERAL INFORMATION
Our Winter cornhole league if a fun way to stay active while playing the game of cornhole while its. Your scores each week will determine if you move up or down the ladder. A schedule will be posted when you arrive each week. Before registering, please plan on committing to play the entire 5-week session as the ladder only works when everyone is present. This League is for 55+ adults.

FORMAT
Participants will play 3 games to 21 or the highest score at 20 minutes. You will rotate between each participant on your “court” after each game. After your 3 games, your individual total score will determine movement either up or down the ladder. You then will play 3 more games with you new group of 4. You will report your score each game.

Senior Golf - Winter 2025

GENERAL INFORMATION
Our winter golf league is a fun way to meet new people and work on your golf skills. Each week you will play a different course in the golf simulators. This League is for 55+ adults.

FORMAT
Each individual will play 1 round (9 holes) for 2 hours. There will be 4 individuals per simulator, and you will rotate between each turn. You will report you score at the end of each day. Scores will be tallied up at the end of each session.
