2026 Summer Soccer - Summer 2026

Format: Participants will be organized into teams and games will be scheduled on weekday evenings.  Age 4, Kindergarten and 1st Grade levels will have practice time & a game built in to their 1-hour time slot. 2nd Grade and older will play their game for the entire hour.  Practices for these levels will be scheduled at the coach's discretion and could be held prior to a game or on a separate day/time than the scheduled game.  Age 4 participants must turn 4 years old by July 6, 2026 and not attending Kindergarten in the fall.  

Location: D.C. Everest Middle School Soccer Complex

Dates: July 6th - August 13 (Mon-Thurs Evenings). 6 Week Season

Deadline: Friday, April 17th or until a level is full.  Some Levels may fill prior to the deadline.  All registrations received after the deadline will be charged a $10 late fee.

Cooking with Sparklez - Sweet Summer Series - Summer 2026

Everest families may already know "Sweet Eats with Sparklez" and now Sparklez has brought her cookbook of kid friendly foods to GTCC!  The Sweet Summer Series is open to children 3 - 14 years old.  Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.  All ingredients, equipment and utensils are provided.

Class fee is $30 per child.  All classes take place at the Greenheck Turner Community Center.

GTCC Summer Dance Camp - Summer 2026

Format: The GTCC Summer Dance Camp is designed for athletes currently in grades 3rd-6th.  This fun and high energy dance camp focuses on building strong technique, confidence, and performance skills in a positive team environment.  Dancers will learn a full dance routine that they will get to perform at the Touchdown and Toe Touch event on August 14th.  Additionally, they will also be training important foundational skills including kick technique, leaps, turns, jumps, flexibility and performance quality.  This camp will be coached by current Everest Dance Association Coaches. 

Athletes will work on:

• Dance routine and choreography to show at our Touchdown & Toe Touch Event (Aug 14)
• Kick Technique & precision
• Leaps & Jump progressions
• Turns & balance training
• Flexibility & strength
• Performance skills & confidence

Whether your athlete is looking to improve technique, prepare for future dance opportunities, or simply have fun dancing with friends, this camp is a great opportunity to grow skills & Build Confidence!

Girls Rising Stars Running Camp - Summer 2026

The DCE Rising Stars Girl's Running Camp is designed to increase confidence and empower young girls to build connections through running and movement patterns, endurance, strength & mobility activities, and health knowledge & skills.  Campers will participate in age & ability appropriate running activities & games, as well as interactive lessons valuing relationships and teamwork.  This program will be guided by current coaches and high school competitive runners.

Join us for fitness, fun & friendship!

We will be serving snacks during this program and participants will be going off site during their runs, accompanied by the coaches. 

Dates: June 22 - 25

Time: 6 - 8 PM

Grades: Girls in 4th - 8th. Please sign up for the grade your daughter will be in Fall of 2026.

2026 Flag Football - Fall 2026

Format: Our flag football program is back for another action-packed season! You must register your child for the grade they will attend in Fall of 2026 (not current grade).  Games will take place on Saturday mornings with weekday evening practices. Please reference our Friend Request & Team Formation Policy if you wish to make a friend request this season.  All requests must be mutual. 

Practices: Coaches will contact their individual teams regarding practice dates and times. Practices will occur on weekday evenings at the discretion of coaches.

Location: Games will be played at the fields at the DC Everest Junior High and Stiehm Stadium 

Dates: Sept. 12, 19, 26 & Oct. 3, 10

Coaching: Our flag football program is fun for both kids and adults!  Please consider becoming involved by volunteering to coach or assistant coach. No experience is necessary!  Your help is greatly appreciated and essential to the success of the program. Coaches meeting tentatively planned for Tuesday, August 18th.  Details will be shared prior to the meeting.

This program is a partnership with the DC Everest Senior High School Football Team

2026 Fall Outdoor Youth Soccer - Fall 2026

Format: Come play soccer with us this Fall! Fall soccer will be structured the same as our indoor program except we will be OUTSIDE!  Fall soccer is open to boys & girls Age 4- 5th Grade in Fall 2026 (not current grade).  Participants will be divided into teams and will meet for one hour each Sunday for skills practice followed by a soccer game.  The exact schedule will depend on registration numbers, but we are tentatively planning between Noon-5 pm. This is a recreational soccer program, no soccer experience is necessary.  All participants are required to wear shin guards.  Program communications will be sent via Team Sideline email.  Please reference our Friend Request & Team Formation Policy if you wish to make a friend request this season.  All requests must be mutual.

Format: Our Girls Recreational Basketball League is designed to provide a fun, positive, and development focused environment.  Players can build basketball skill fundamentals, teamwork, confidence, and team sportsmanship while enjoying the game. This program is in partnership with the DC Everest Senior High Girls Basketball Teams. 

New this year:

• 3-4th Grade: Will play 3v3 half court games
• 5-6th Grade: Will play 5v5 full court games. 

Practices: Practices will occur on weekday evenings at the discretion of parent volunteer coaches. 

Location: Games will be played on Saturdays at the Greenheck Turner Community Center or DCE Junior High

Dates: Sept. 12, 19, 26 & Oct. 3, 10 (Saturday Mornings)

Format: Our boys basketball skills & drills program is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the fundamental skills of basketball.  This program is open to players of all skill levels, the clinic focuses on building a strong foundation in key areas such as dribbling, passing, shooting an footwork.  The program will be ran by the DC Everest Boys High School Basketball players and their coaches. 

Location: Greenheck Turner Community Center Gym

Grades: Age 4 - 1st 

Dates: Saturdays, October 17, 24, 31, November 7, 14 

Cost: $42

Time: 8:00-8:25

2nd - 3rd Grade Boys Basketball Skills & Drills - Fall 2026

Format: The Boys Basketball skills & drills clinic is designed to help young athletes develop fundamental basketball skills in a fun, positive, and team oriented environment.  Open to players of all skill levels!  The clinic will focus on building a strong foundation in key areas such as dribbling, passing, and footwork.  This program is ran by the DC Everest High School Boys Basketball players and their coaches. 

Cost: $42

Dates: Saturdays, Oct. 17, 24, 31 & Nov. 7, 14

• 2nd-3rd Grade Grade: 8:30-9am

Attention 2nd-3rd Graders:

We are excited to offer a 2nd- 3rd Grade 3v3 Basketball session. Designed to assist with the jump from skills to game style format.  The games will start immediately following the skills & drills clinic. You must be signed up for the skills portion to participate in the 3v3 program. The add on will appear as a selection in your registration. 

Cost: $15 -includes a reversible jersey!

4th - 6th Grade Boys Basketball 3v3 - Fall 2026

Program Information: NEW! Our 4th-6th Grade Fall Basketball program is evolving into an exciting new 3v3 format designed to better support player development and increase engagement on the court.  This new structure introduces two divisions to meet players where they are. 

The 3v3 game format creates more opportunities for each athlete to actively participate.  Offering increased playing time, more ball touches, and greater involvement in every play.  With fewer players on the court participants will develop key skills such as ball handling, decision making, spacing and team work at a faster pace. 

By organizing players into appropriate skill divisions, we aim to provide a positive and challenging environment for all levels.  Whether they are just learning the game or looking to compete at a higher level.  We're excited to offer a more dynamic and development focused basketball experience that helps every player.

• There will be no practices, only meet on Saturday's for the 3v3 games.
• No formed teams, players will be divided each week

Dates: Saturday's, October - 17, 24, 31 & November- 7, 14 

Location: Greenheck Turner Community Center - Gym

Divisions:

• Playmakers (Beginner) 4th-6th Grade: 10 - 10:45am - This division is ideal fro players who are newer to basketball or still developing their fundamental skills.  This level will focus on learning the game, building confidence, and improving core skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic game concepts in a supportive, lower pressure environment. 
• Ballers (Advanced) 4th-6th Grade: 11 - 11:45am - This division is designed for players with more experience who are ready for a faster paced and more competitive setting.  Participants should have a solid understanding of the game, be comfortable with fundamental skills, and be prepared for more advanced gameplay, strategy, and decision making.

This program will offer a wide range of movement patterns for all ages that will include flexibility/mobility, power/strength, speed/efficiency within selected patterns.  We will use the planes of motion and will develop an understanding of how the hips and ankles work to make faster, more explosive athletes.  Participants will be engaged while following along with a specific method of training to encourage growth and development in speed and agility.  They will develop body control and movement patterns to help them grow through their high school years.  The goal is to develop better movers.  Must be enrolled in Kindergarten or 1st grade in Fall of 2026 to attend Little Movers.

3-6th Grade Wiffleball - Fall 2026

Format: Our wiffleball program is open to girls & boys attending 3rd - 6th grade in the fall of 2026.  Wiffleball is a variation of baseball, played with a plastic bat and perforated, plastic ball.  Join us Monday nights on the turf for a friendly variation of this backyard classic!  Players will be placed on teams randomly, no requests will be accepted for placement.  All grades will play together. We will supply balls and bats, no other equipment is necessary.  Cleats are recommended but not required.

Tyke Time - May - Spring 2026

Roll, bounce, jump and giggle your way around the turf during our Tyke Time program.  Each week your tot will find different and fun ways to express themselves through play.  Tyke Time is open to children 18 months through 5 years of age and a parent/guardian is required to attend with their child.

Pre-registration is recommended but not required.  All Tyke Time sessions will take place at the Greenheck Turner Community Center.
