Program Information: NEW! Our 4th-6th Grade Fall Basketball program is evolving into an exciting new 3v3 format designed to better support player development and increase engagement on the court. This new structure introduces two divisions to meet players where they are.
The 3v3 game format creates more opportunities for each athlete to actively participate. Offering increased playing time, more ball touches, and greater involvement in every play. With fewer players on the court participants will develop key skills such as ball handling, decision making, spacing and team work at a faster pace.
By organizing players into appropriate skill divisions, we aim to provide a positive and challenging environment for all levels. Whether they are just learning the game or looking to compete at a higher level. We're excited to offer a more dynamic and development focused basketball experience that helps every player.
- There will be no practices, only meet on Saturday's for the 3v3 games.
- No formed teams, players will be divided each week
Dates: Saturday's, October - 17, 24, 31 & November- 7, 14
Location: Greenheck Turner Community Center - Gym
Divisions:
- Playmakers (Beginner) 4th-6th Grade: 10 - 10:45am - This division is ideal fro players who are newer to basketball or still developing their fundamental skills. This level will focus on learning the game, building confidence, and improving core skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic game concepts in a supportive, lower pressure environment.
- Ballers (Advanced) 4th-6th Grade: 11 - 11:45am - This division is designed for players with more experience who are ready for a faster paced and more competitive setting. Participants should have a solid understanding of the game, be comfortable with fundamental skills, and be prepared for more advanced gameplay, strategy, and decision making.
