Lincoln Parks and Recreation: Youth NFL FLAG Football  Spring 2025

                    

 

Welcome to the Official NFL 5-on-5 Flag Football Program!

We are proud to be the official 5-on-5 flag football program of the National Football League. Our program emphasizes instruction and development for young players learning the game of football.

Registration Information

Regular Registration (January 6 - February 3, 2025):

  • $95 for the first child
  • $90 for each additional child in the same household

Late Registration (February 4 - 10, 2025, or until leagues are full):

  • $105 for the first child
  • $100 for each additional child in the same household

Grade Divisions (Based on 2024-2025 School Year)

  • K-1st Grades
  • 2nd-3rd Grades
  • 4th-5th Grades
  • 6th-8th Grades

Season Information

Start Date: March 17, 2025
Season Length: 6 games
Game Rescheduling: Any canceled games (due to weather, etc.) will be rescheduled at the end of the season.

Game Days & Times

Games will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays at the following times:

  • 6:15 PM
  • 7:10 PM
  • 8:05 PM

Practice Information

Practice Times: Determined by the coaching staff, starting the day after the coaches' meeting.
Note: Practices held before the coaches' meeting are not sanctioned by Parks and Recreation.

Equipment & Giveaways

Coaches will receive all necessary equipment (balls and flags) prior to the start of the season.
Each participant will receive an official NFL reversible jersey and flags to keep.

Coaches Information

Volunteer coaches are the backbone of our youth sports programs. We provide coaching manuals and resources from the NFL, and all adult volunteers are required to undergo a thorough background check.

Coaches' Meeting:
Approximately 3 weeks prior to the start of the season.
