ADULT DROP-IN BASKETBALL

Pick-up basketball at its finest! Come down and join the fun of "pick-up" style hoops.
Teams will be broken down to 5-on-5 with a constant winner rotation.
Individuals welcome!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DROP-IN BASKETBALL

Wednesday night drop-in basketball is adult pick-up style basketball facilitated by Recreation Staff. Games are typically 5 vs 5 full court with an 8-minute running clock. Individual players are welcomed as staff will assist in creating teams for each game. Teams will keep their own score and call their own fouls. The winning team at the end of 8 minutes stays on the court to play a new team of challengers, while players from the losing team are welcome to put their name in the que to challenge again.

Punch passes are sold in groups of 5 visits for $15 or 20 visits for $60. For those who previously had active punch passes, please know that any punches that were left on your punch passes have not expired and will be valid upon your return. An updated waiver form will be required.

NEWPORT COAST BASKETBALL SHOOT-AROUND

The Newport Coast Community Center Gym is available for "shoot-around" during the following times for all ages.

There are 6 basketball hoops available to the public to shoot on.

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult.

No coaching is allowed during shoot around time.

20 Visits(residents): $50

20 Visits(non-residents): $60

Drop-in Sports Card Procedure

At your next visit to Newport Coast Community Center, staff will provide a drop-in sports card, which includes taking your picture and setting up your account. Once you receive your card, you can purchase visits in advance (5 or 20 visits are available) and recharge your pass as needed online or at Newport Coast Community Center.

Your pass card will be scanned each time you play and one visit is deducted. Cash will not be accepted at the gym. Drop-In cards required for Wednesday night.
