St. Anthony's CYO Basketball 2024-25 Season - Winter 2024

St. Anthony’s CYO basketball is located in Novato, CA. and offers basketball for boys and girls from 4th through 8th grades. We participate in the Marin CYO league, which offers an eight game season, followed by playoffs. Season runs January – March. Every registered player will be placed on a team, as long as they have the basic basketball skills to compete at either the “A” or “B” level.  (This does not include those who added their name/registered for the "waitlist". Players will be added from the waitlist if someone cancels, or we have enough players on the waitlist to add another team. Waitlist payments will be refunded in full after it is determined we will not have room to add the player from the waitlist.)

REGISTRATION:

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY-REGISTRATION HAS CHANGED SINCE LAST YEAR!

Registration will begin Tuesday, September 17, 2024 and end Tuesday, October 15, 2024 (REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO SUNDAY, Oct 20 at 11pm). Our goal is to have every child able to participate in our CYO basketball program. However, once an age group reaches 20 players, each additional player will be placed on a waiting list until enough players sign up for a second team. This is regardless of the 10/15/24 deadline. In the event we do not have enough registrations to field a team we will issue a full refund of the registration fees. Register early to avoid disappointment.

PRACTICE & GAME SCHEDULE

Practices begin November 1st. Practices will be held at Novato Unified School District gyms and the City of Novato Hill Gym, based on their availability to us. The league season begins in January, all games are on weekends.

Participation in CYO sports requires flexibility. Practices are scheduled according to gym availability (which is not always consistent) and the coach’s availability. We do try to get a consistent practice schedule, and appreciate your patience and flexibility. Each team will have two practices per week.
