Manager Interest
The success of our season and teams is largely dependent on adult leaders committed to improving skill and teaching well-ground life lessons to the youth in our community. In the winter, the spring season is always just around the corner, and we need to identify prospective Managers.
Managers and coaches can register as a volunteer when Spring/Fall online registration opens. Please reach out to coachcoordinator@aglittleleague.org with your interest and what division.
For the 2024 season, we are planning for Major, Minor, Rookie, Tee Ball, and Bubba Ball divisions. Prospective Managers will need to come to the Board for consideration in early January to be ready for player assessments and the draft/player placement.
For volunteer clearing question, please contact our Safety Officer at safety@aglittleleague.org.
Below is a growing list of resources AGLL managers and coaches have found useful. If you know of another good resource to add, please send a message to info@aglittleleague.org.
PLEASE NOTE: all Managers, Coaches too, will need to attend District approved Safety and Skills Training. See Details!
Being a good coach is a process, and continuing to learn improves knowledge in the physical and mental parts of the game and refines coaching skills. It is a small sacrifice of your time, but will be a huge benefit to the kids. Thank you for all your hard work and commitment in advance.
