Spring Softball Leagues

Boise Parks and Recreation offers organized weeknight adult (16+) softball leagues for all abilities. Teams play 10 regular season games, once per week, with a variety of different playing levels available. Our Gold league consists of the following divisions: Men’s, Women’s, Seniors, and Coed. Our leagues will be sanctioned Softball of Idaho, which will follow all regular USA softball rules with the exception of M1/M2 which will play USSSA rules. Game times are 6:30p.m., 7:45p.m., and 9p.m. Registration is by team only.

Sunday Softball Leagues

Boise Parks and Recreation Sunday Coed only plays Sunday afternoon and is meant to be a less competitive, family-friendly division for anyone 14 years of age and older! This league is a great place to start for newer teams and we have multiple levels to accommodate any ability. Teams play 8 regular season games, once per week, on Sundays in the late afternoon to evening. Game times are 3:15p.m., 4:30p.m., 5:45p.m., 7p.m., and 8: 15p.m. All divisions are sanctioned by Softball of Idaho and registration is by team only.

Softball Tournaments

Boise Parks and Recreation offers USA, Softball of Idaho, and USSSA sanctioned invitational, qualifier and championship level tournaments for men's, women's and coed slow pitch. Tournaments are held on weekends from April thru September in typically a three or four game guarantee format. Registration is accepted on a team basis only. The deadline to register is 5:00 p.m. on the Friday, one week prior to the tournament, unless stated otherwise. Payment and completed roster due at time of registration. Each tournament is dependent upon weather. Tournament umpires are contracted through the Boise Softball Umpire's Association (USA/ASA/Softball of Idaho) and Idaho USSSA.


Who is a Resident: 

Boise residents live within the city limits and pay City of Boise taxes. The boundaries that the U.S. Post Office uses and those that determine the city limits are not the same. Even though you may have a Boise mailing address, you may not live within the Boise city limits. Questions about residency? Please call customer service staff at 208-608-7651. 

Non-Resident Policy: 

Boise residents directly contribute to the operations of Boise Parks and Recreation Department’s programs and services by payment of their property taxes. The Fair-Share Policy (non-resident fee) allocates an additional fee to non-resident users so that they also contribute, on an equitable basis, to the overall financing of the department’s operations.
