Shooting Stars basketball is for players, ages 5 and older, with additional needs and disabilities.  Athletes participate in fun basketball activities, social time and skill building in a supportive and positive environment!  

Athlete Focused: Each athlete's skill set is unique.  For game play, athletes are grouped with players of like abilities.  All athletes have equal opportunity to play. 

 

2025 Season

January 20 - March 15 

End-of-Season Event: Saturday, March 15th 

Little Dippers 

Ages 5-14 use 6'-8' hoops 

Each Saturday players will practice for 30 minutes and play a game for 20-30 minutes with an intermission.

Program begins Saturday, January 25.  The first two program dates are practice only.

NCPRD: $75
Non-residents: $94

Big Dippers 

Ages 12-25 use 10' hoops 

Players will have an optional weeknight practice and Saturday game days.

Practice begins the week of January 20.
The first two Saturdays (January 25, February 1) are practices.

Games begin Saturday, February 8.

Non-resident: $115

Scholarships

Scholarships are available to families eligible for assistance who live within the North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District. To verify that you live in-district, please visit our website at www.ncprd.com/ncprd/are-you-in-district

In order to make our limited amount of scholarship resources available to the maximum number of participants, it is the District’s policy to offer only partial scholarships. We expect all participants to make some financial contribution towards their fees. All submitted applications will be kept confidential.
