The mission of the Incarnate Word Athletic Association (IWAA) is to help provide a Catholic environment for all youth who wish to participate in sports activities and learn how to apply Christian principles to sports related situations.

REGISTRATION FOR CYC SPRING SPORTS CLOSE ON 01/31/2025

 

OUR PROGRAMS

CYC Baseball/Softball (1st-8th)

Boys & Girls

CYC Baseball/Softball starts in March and lasts through June.  The program consists of weekly practices and games.  Games are typically on Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday, but can be any day of the week.  Teams will play other parishes throughout the St. Louis area.

Training League Baseball/Softball 

(PreK-K)

Boys & Girls

Training League Baseball/Softball is a skills based program that is held on Saturday mornings at the IW field.  Sessions are half skills, half games against other teams in the IW Training League program

CYC Track (1st-8th)

Boys & Girls

 CYC Track starts in early March and lasts through May.  The program consists of weekly practices and two meets.

Meets include parishes throughout the St. Louis area.  Parents must help with the meets in order for the kids to have a successful meet.

CYC Big League Golf (5th-8th)

Boys & Girls

Big League Golf consists of clinics and 6 rounds of course play. 

Clinic Dates: Offered on Saturdays (AM & PM) or Sunday afternoons March 1st/2nd, 8th/9th, 15th/16th, 22nd/23rd and a rainout date of 29th/30th  

Course Play: 6 Rounds of 9-hole golf, must complete at least 4 rounds to be considered for Archdiocesan Playoffs Locations for rounds will depend on the parish, but can include Pheasant Run, Hawk’s Ridge, Paradise Valley, Riverside, Family Golf, and Crescent Farm.

5th/6th grade will play shotguns with a 2-hour time limit 7th/8th grade will play tee times with a 2.5-hour time limit

CYC Little League Golf (2nd-4th)

Boys & Girls

Clinic Dates: Offered on Saturdays (AM & PM) or Sunday afternoon April 5/6, 12/13, 26/27, May 3/4, 10/11, 17/18 and a rainout date of May 31/June 1. 

Locations for clinics include Golf Headquarters, Paradise Valley, and Missouri Bluffs Golf Club

IW/St. Monica Lacrosse (4th girls, 5th-6th boys and girls, and 7th-8th girls)

Boys & Girls

 Incarnate Word (IW) and St. Monica (SM) are glad to announce merging of our Lacrosse program into a single program. 

IW/SM is looking to rebuild and keep parish sponsor lacrosse alive in West County. The program is offered to 5th and 6th grade for both boys and girls plus 7th and 8th grade girls. The program will accept 4th graders girls after discussion with the parents. 

No lacrosse experience required. SM has lacrosse equipment that can be rented for a very nominal fee. Last Year SLYLA games were played at Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex (CVAC), Y12 boys and Y12 girls played on Saturday and Y14 girls played on Sunday. The girls practice on Wednesday evening and Boys on Thursday at Saint Monica.

Annual CYC Membership

A yearly CYC Membership fee is required to register for all CYC programs.  You will be asked to upload a photo during registration.  The cost is $5 and will be added to your cart during registration, if you have not already paid the annual fee for this school year.
