2026 Ascension Volleyball 3rd-8th - Fall 2026

To register for the Ascension Volleyball Program, you must meet one of the following criteria:

   1.  Be Catholic and a registered member of Ascension Parish

   2.  Attend Ascension Catholic School

   3.  Live within the Ascension Parish boundaries  Click here to check your address

   4. If attending a public school, the elementary school boundary where you live falls within the Parish boundaries

Registration Open: April 15 - June 1

After regular registration closes on June 1st, placement is no longer guaranteed and is dependent on the number of available spots within the program.

WORK DUTY REQUIREMENT: Each family is expected to volunteer for a minimum of 4 hours during each school year, OR you may choose to pay the $200 buyout. Either option will fulfill your family's requirement for all sports for the school year.

  • When does CYC volleyball season start?: Practices start in August and games start 1 week before Labor Day weekend.
  • What night will my child practice?: Practice slots are chosen by the head coach after the coaches meeting. The coaches will set the practice schedule. Please direct questions about practice to your coach.
  • Can my child play soccer & volleyball?: CYC does it's best to run the volleyball schedule around soccer.
  • I'd like to help coach, what do I do?: Thank you! We greatly appreciate your help! Please click the Volunteer button to register as a Head or Assistant Coach. You will also need to complete the requirements listed on the Coaches Corner.
  • Do I have to complete a work duty?: Ascension requires all families complete one 4-hour work duty shift per year May 1 - April 30. Families may choose a $200 Buyout Fee in lieu of volunteering.
