Backcountry Cooking- Food Sensitivities - Summer 2026

Nourish your adventures and feel your best on the trail. Join EmpowHer founder Kristina Schmid, an avid outdoors woman with food sensitivities, to learn how to cook delicious, simple and nutritious meals outdoors. Bring an appetite, as we plan to eat well! All recipes will be combinations of gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and other food sensitive combos. Participants will learn how to:

  • Plan balanced meals with food sensitivities
  • How to select safe ingredients
  • Backcountry cooking techniques
  • Create satisfying meals you can eat anywhere...literally!

Where:    Riverfront Park (610 S. Mission St.)

Ages:      13+

Cost:      $25 McCall city resident (does not include $1.50 sales tax and $0.25 LOT)

               $35 Non-McCall city resident (does not include $2.10 sales tax and $0.30 LOT)
