Softball Bat Compression Testing All bats used in City of Mesa Adult Softball leagues must be an ASA/USA approved bat and are required to pass a bat compression test conducted by a City of Mesa Adult Sports staff person or partnering city staff. Bats must have the current "All City Softball" sticker that's dated through 2024.
Is my bat an ASA approved bat? Please see the link below.
Approved bats
How do I get my bat tested?
Tests will be conducted by appointment only, between the hours of 2-6pm, Monday-Friday.
Please email
adult.sports@mesaaz.gov
to schedule an appointment.
We have created a 2024-2025 “ALL CITY SOFTBALL” sticker that will be valid for leagues in all 5 cities. This means if you get your bat tested and receive the ALL-CITY sticker in any of the other four cities of Tempe, Scottsdale, Chandler, and Gilbert, you won’t have to get it tested in Mesa and vice versa.
