Poynette Area Farmers Market - Summer 2026

The Poynette Area Farmer's Market provides locally grown fruits, vegetables, and homemade goods to the community. Vendors must complete an application to sell at the market.

Located at Pauquette Park, 126 S Main St., Poynette, WI 53955, the market operates every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, starting the third Saturday in May and ending the second weekend of October. New this year, there will also be a Wednesday night market from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

A seasonal vendor pass costs $60, which supports market improvements. Passes must be purchased by Friday at noon before the weekend you wish to sell.

Summer Camp 2026 - Summer 2026

Poynette Parks and Recreation is excited to offer YEAR 4 of summer day camps for children aged 7 to 11.  For those aged 11.5 and older, we provide the opportunity to become Counselors in Training (CIT). In this role, they will assist our counselors in conducting activities and may even have the chance to lead some activities themselves.

Camp will be from 7/13/2026 - 8/20/2026 Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM with extended care options for parents who need extra time. This service is available from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM in the morning and from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the afternoon.

Summer Day Camp General Schedule and Weekly Themes

Every day during a week of Day Camp, campers will enjoy mostly outdoor fun, rain, or shine! Daily activities will relate to our weekly theme and will include walks, crafts, games, and other meaningful and engaging activities. Campers should bring water, snack, and a lunch daily. Our program will offer several field trips, including transportation via school bus or walking. 

• Week 1- Outstanding Outdoors - Lodi Marsh State Natural Area, Pauquette Park, and Rowan Creek 
• Week 2- The Arts - Art demonstrations at Valley View
• Week 3- Science and Discovery - TBA
• Week 4- Wellness, Sports, and Health - UW-Madison Recreation Center Tour
• Week 5- Culture and Community - Community Service Day Projects Around Town 
• Week 6- Crazy Dayz -Beaver Dam Splash Pad and Little Amerricka

Line Dancing - Spring 2026

Get ready to kick up your heels and have some fun with the Poynette Parks and Recreation Department's upcoming 6-week line dance class! Led by instructor Diana Kaschinske! This course is designed to get you moving and grooving to a variety of popular music styles while learning classic and contemporary steps. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or just starting out, this series offers a welcoming environment to improve your coordination and enjoy a great workout with your neighbors.

Free Introductory class will be on Wednesday, March 4th, in the Civic Hall from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM.

All Classes will be held in the civic hall at 106 S Main St. Poynette WI 53955.

Class is held in the Civic Hall on the 2nd floor of the Village Hall located at 106 S Main St. Poynette WI, 53955.

Sign up for as many classes as you would like or sign up on a weekly basis.
Discounts are available for seniors and retired and active duty military only available in office or by phone.
