Kid's Fitness Class! - Summer I 2026

Kids Fitness: Play-Based PE (Ages 5–10)

Keep your kids active, healthy, and moving this summer with a fun, non-competitive, PE-style class designed for every child!

Through classic physical education games, creative obstacle courses, and movement challenges, kids will develop essential skills like balance, coordination, and everyday strength. We focus on play-based fitness that keeps every child included, smiling, and building real-world confidence. It’s the perfect way to burn off summer energy, replace screen time, and build healthy habits for life!

What to expect: Fun PE-style games, interactive obstacle tracks, and active group play.

First-Timer Trial: 2 sessions for just $25!

Location: We Care Wellness Center: 827 W. Prairie Ave. Hayden, ID 

Notes: 1. Only one session per child as this is their introductory trial rate*

   2. Tennis shoes and a water bottle are required.

Future Starz Summer Camps! - Summer 2026

The City of CDA Parks and Recreation department is excited to begin a partnership with Future Starz Youth Sports! These camps are for boys and girls ages 6-16 and will be directed by their staff comprised of coaches and teachers with over 50 years of combined experience! These programs will include skill development, team building activities and fun programming. Camp listings are below!

Davis Fogle & Luca Foster Basketball Clinic! - Summer 2026

The City of Coeur d' Alene Recreation Department is excited to offer a one day basketball clinic in conjunction with Bill's Heating & Cooling! Take part in this one day outdoor basketball clinic with instruction from Gonzaga’s Davis Fogle and Luca Foster! 

- June 13th at the McEuen basketball courts

- Noon to 1:30pm

- Ages 10-13 are welcome to register! 

- $45 per player. 

Registration will run through June 11th or until full. Space is limited so get registered today! 

2026 NIC Soccer Camps - Spring 2026

The City of Coeur d’ Alene Parks and Recreation department is excited to continue our partnership with the North Idaho College men’s soccer team! These camps are for boys and girls ages 5-12 and will be directed by men’s head coach Brad Williams. Instruction from past and present players will include skill development, team building activities and tactical coaching. Camp listings are below!

Youth Pickleball Camps - Summer 2026

Get in the game this summer with our Youth Pickleball Camps! This fun and engaging program is perfect for players of all skill levels looking to learn the fundamentals or improve their game in a supportive, active environment.

Participants will develop key skills including serving, rallying, court positioning, and game strategy through drills, instruction, and match play led by experienced staff.

Session Dates:

• June 15th-19th
• July 6th-10th

Schedule (Monday–Friday):

• Ages 8–11: 8:00–10:00 AM
• Ages 12-16: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Location: Cherry Hill Pickleball Courts

Cost: $140 per participant
Capacity: Limited to 20 participants per session

BrixCAMP - Summer 2026

Are you ready for a week of non-stop LEGO adventures? At BrixCAMP, you can use over a thousand pounds of sorted LEGO bricks to create anything you can imagine! BrixCAMP offers daily engineering and design challenges with local science teacher and LEGO Master Wes Pitter for one-of-a-kind experience and a week of exciting LEGO memories! 

BrixCAMP will be held July 13th-17th from 9am-noon at a local school district gymnasium. Ages 7-14 are welcome to register! 

Registration will be open March 23rd and go through July 10th or until full.

 Cost is $200 per student. 

2026 Youth Golf Camps! - Summer 2026

Coeur d' Alene Recreation is excited to continue our partnership with Coeur d' Alene Public Golf Club for our kid's golf lessons! Utilizing a combination of the "S.N.A.G." golf program and facilities at the golf course, we are able to offer a broad range of instruction to a larger age range. This program will be overseen by the golf professionals from CDA Public Golf Course, volunteers from the Friends of the CDA Public, and our recreation staff! We will offer multiple sessions this year so pay close attention when registering. We're excited to get all the kids out on the course!
