Football Tackle Season - preseason starts mid-July, season starts end of August till end of October, post-season playoff in November.

Elk Grove Youth Football Eagles football is a 100% volunteer organization. Our goal is to provide a safe environment where athletes can learn, grow, and excel in the game of football. We are committed to fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development, while promoting physical fitness and a love for the sport. Through coaching, we aim to inspire our players to reach their full potential both on and off the field, building lifelong skills and memories along the way. Flag Team is open to players aged 5-7 with no weight restrictions. Tackle Teams are open to players aged 8-14 and are structured based on age and weight. • The below expectations are designed to promote a positive and productive football experience for all members of the team, foster skill development, camaraderie, and personal growth. 
• Stay focused during practices and games, listening to coaches', instructions and executing assigned roles and responsibilities 
• Demonstrate dedication and commitment to the team by attending practices regularly, participating fully in team activities, and giving maximum effort during performances
• Support and encourage teammates, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment
• Represent the team and program with dignity and integrity, both on and off the field 
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions from coaches to prevent injuries during practices and performances
