2024 Wald Park Tennis Memberships

WALD PARK TENNIS COURT RESERVATIONS – INDIVIDUALS 

1. Tennis Court reservations may be made through the Vestavia Hills Parks and Leisure Services (VHPLS) website. Reservations may only be made by Vestavia Hills residents fourteen (14) or older with a VHPLS Tennis membership. 

2. Vestavia Hills residents may purchase an VHPLS Tennis Membership for $50.  Membership allows individuals to reserve courts in two-hour increments, when available, two times a week. (Maximum of four hours a week).  One reservation per member per day. All memberships will expire on December 31, 2024. New memberships will begin on January 1, 2025. 

3. Tennis Courts 1 and 2 will always be first come/first serve unless scheduled for a special event. Therefore, only courts 3 – 6 may be reserved.

4. Reservations may be made up to 24 hours before the requested reservation time but no sooner than one week in advance. All weekend reservations should be made by Friday at noon.                    

5. Reservations will be deemed forfeited at 10 minutes after the designated start time.   

6. Persons unable to play at their reserved court time should notify VHPLS of cancellation at least two (2) hours prior to their reserved court time. Repeated violation of this rule may result in suspension of reservation privileges.   

7. VHPLS reserves the right to, at any time, alter reservation procedures including the time of season and hours of day for which reservations will be accepted.

8.  Reservations for the tennis courts are for tennis players only.  No pickle ball played on the tennis courts by reservation.
