2025 Adult Basketball League -

• Game Play: Monday and Wednesday Leagues. Monday is Recreational and Wednesday is Competitive. 8 Games with Upper and lower seed playoffs.
•  Start Date: February 17th
• Cost: League fees will be $500 per team  Registration ends February 13
• Captains Meeting 2/12 6:00 at the Vestavia Civic Center

11 v 11 Adult Soccer league. $1600 Team Registration fee. Registration starts 1/13/25 and ends 2/6/25. Start date is 2/9/24.

Vestavia Hills Parks and Leisure Adult Tennis Program - Winter 2025

New Adult Tennis Program

This adult tennis program is designed to provide instruction for players at all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. The Birmingham Tennis Academy will manage the clinics, which will take place at the Wald Park Tennis Courts.

Beginner (1.0 - 2.0) 
This program is for players who are new to tennis or have been away from the game and are looking to sharpen their skills.
  
Clinic Days/Times:  
- Wednesday: 9:30 - 11:00 am  
- Friday: 9:30 - 11:00 am  

Advanced Beginner (2.0 - 2.5) 
This program is designed for players with minimal experience who are familiar with the basic strokes and wish to improve their overall play.
  
Clinic Days/Times:  
- Wednesday: 6:00 - 7:30 pm  
- Thursday: 9:30 - 11:00 am  

Intermediate-Advanced (3.0 - 3.5) 

 This program is designed for players with good stroke fundamentals and experience in match play.

- Tuesday: 9:30 - 11:00 am

We hope you are enjoying your time at the new Vestavia Hills Wald Park Tennis and Pickleball courts!  We are certainly enjoying seeing you all there and the positive energy that continues to grow our community.

We will offer memberships for a 6-month period for $50.00. This is the same pricing as the “preview” period however, it will be semi-annually and not quarterly. All the other guidelines as far as reserving courts, etc will remain the same.

2025 Little Rebel Cheer - Fall 2025

Registration will open April 2nd at 9:00 AM

Practices

• Practices are at the discretion of each coach for their squad. 
• Liberty Park squads will hold practices at the SHAC.
• All other squads will practice at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center in reserved rooms.
• Some coaches elect to hold summer practices to help prep the girls.
• Practices after camp are mandatory and typically held weekly for an hour.
• Practices are usually held on Sunday afternoons.
• Girls will need to wear their practice uniforms, bring a water bottle, and their pom poms (once received) to all practices.

Schedules

• Schedules will be released at the end of August.
• Little Rebels Cheer is unable to provide coaches with schedules until the Jefferson - Shelby Youth Football League has finalized and posted it.
• Squads may be scheduled to cheer just day s after the schedule is released, so it is best to be prepared. 
• Games will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights at 6:00 PM or 7:15 PM (Cheerleaders are usually asked to arrive 15 - 30 minutes prior to the game)
• Cheerleaders will typically only be asked to cheer at one game per week. Depending on football numbers, you may cheer every other week. 
• Regular season runs Serptember through October. In the event your team should make the playoffs, games are typically the week before Thanksgiving.
