The Vestavia Hills Parks and Leisure Services will partner with VHHS to hold athletic camps during the Summer of 2026.

Baseball* June 1 - 4 (1st - 5th grade)

Basketball(B) June 1 - 3 (6th - 8th grade) and June 22 - 25 (1st - 5th grade)

Boys Soccer** June 8 - 12 (1st - 8th grade) and June 15 - 19 (1st - 8th grade)

Flag Football*** June 9 - 11 (1st - 8th grade)

Basketball(G) June 16 - 18 (1st - 8th grade)

Girls Soccer ** June 16 - 19 (1st - 6th grade)

Football June 23 - 25 (7th - 9th grade) and July 27 - 29 (1st - 6th grade)

Volleyball July 7 - 9 (2nd - 8th grade)

Softball June 8-10 (K -8th grade)

Wrestling TBD

All participants will receive additional information, via email, the Sunday prior to the start of camp.

* Check in at baseball field at 7:45 am.  Bring glove, bat, tennis shoes, cleats, water bottle and sunscreen.

** Check in at VHHS stadium at 8:45 am. Bring tennis shoes, cleats, soccer ball, water bottle, sunscreen and a packed lunch.

*** Check in at WALD PARK at 8:45 am.  Bring tennis shoes, water bottle and sunscreen.

2026 Little Rebel Cheer - Fall 2026

Registration will open April 9th at 9:00 AM and close on April 12th at 11:59 PM

Practices

• Practices are at the discretion of each coach for their squad. 
• Liberty Park squads will hold practices at the SHAC.
• All other squads will practice at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center in reserved rooms.
• Some coaches elect to hold summer practices to help prep the girls.
• Practices after camp are mandatory and typically held weekly for an hour.
• Practices are usually held on Sunday afternoons.
• Girls will need to wear their practice uniforms, bring a water bottle, and their pom poms (once received) to all practices.

Schedules

• Schedules will be released at the end of August.
• Little Rebels Cheer is unable to provide coaches with schedules until the Jefferson - Shelby Youth Football League has finalized and posted it.
• Squads may be scheduled to cheer just day s after the schedule is released, so it is best to be prepared. 
• Games will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights at 6:00 PM or 7:15 PM (Cheerleaders are usually asked to arrive 15 - 30 minutes prior to the game)
• Cheerleaders will typically only be asked to cheer at one game per week. Depending on football numbers, you may cheer every other week. 
• Regular season runs September through October. In the event your team should make the playoffs, games are typically the week before Thanksgiving.
