We have been working to determine a player's eligibility for a team earlier in the registration process.  That is one of the reasons we are requiring a second registration in Team Sideline.

The owner of the family account for Team Sideline can determine whether athletes registering for 2021 CYC South Central Basketball have been declared eligible for the registered program.  This takes a few days to determine since the Archdiocese is running addresses through the Parish Finder to determine the Parish of Residence.

Eligibility is determined from the Parish of Residence, Parish of Registration, or School.  The criteria used for each organization are not the same.  The details for each organization are available at this web address.

The owner of the family account for Team Sideline can determine whether athletes registering for 2021 CYC South Central Basketball have been declared eligible for the registered program.  This takes a few days to determine since the Archdiocese is running addresses through the Parish Finder to determine the Parish of Residence.  The account owner can look at the account data for each registered child.  The account and enrollment information used to determine eligibility appear under the heading "Additional Information".  There are two fields to be monitored to confirm your child has been declared eligible.

Eligibility Criteria identifies the criteria used for confirming eligibility.  The values are Parish of Residence, School, Parish of Registration, and Waiver.  Parish of Registration means you are a member of that Catholic Parish and that can be confirmed if need be.  A waiver needs to be approved by the South Central District.  Reach out to the Lay Director for your program for more information on waivers.

Basketball Elg documents whether the athlete has been declared eligible for 2021 CYC South Central Basketball. 

**If the athlete is eligible you will see OK followed by the date of the documentation or OK followed by the date of the documentation and a note on information to be updated with the next registration for a CYC Sport offered in the South Central District.  We have a number of incorrect parish of residences to be fixed with the next registration.  If you believe the parish of residence is correct, use Contact Us under General to send an email.  Please include the name of the child.

**If you see a request for more information, use Contact Us under General to provide the added information.  The registration cannot be processed without the missing information.

**If you see a note that the athlete does not qualify, then reach out to the Lay Director for your program.
