If you select *Other for Parish of Residence, Parish of Registration, or School then key the parish or school in the next field. This information is used to evaluate eligibility and as tracking information for the CYC. The registration is incomplete if you do not do this.
As indicated in the instructions for Parish of Residence, please use the Archdiocesan Parish Finder to determine your Parish of Residence based on the address for the athlete. This is one criteria determining whether you are eligible to play for an organization.
After your child is registered, check the Baseball Elg or Softball Elg field under Additional Information under Account Overview to see if the registration is eligible for the selected organization. That field and Eligibility Criteria document eligibility. This evaluation can take several days due to background processing including determining the Parish of Residence per the Parish Finder. The archdiocese does this evaluation automatically for us. It is a batch process.
Please enroll as a Volunteer Coach after your Sports' Organization has determined the coach and assistant coaches for teams. We expect ONLY ONE coach and at least one assistant coach for each team. You will need to submit a volunteer enrollment for each team where you are volunteering. You need to have completed Child Safety Criteria and a CYC Coaching Class before volunteering to coach.
When you register your child to play, you can indicate your desire to coach so your Sports' Organization is aware.
