We’re excited to announce that Spring Football is here! Our Spring season provides a fast-paced, competitive opportunity for athletes to continue building their skills and love for the game.
What We’re Offering:
🏈 Co-Ed 7v7 Football (Grades K-8)
🏈 Girls-Only 7v7 Football (Grades 6-8, combined)
This is a non-contact league that focuses on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
What We’re NOT Offering:
❌ Lineman 5v5 – We will not be offering this program at this time due to the sudden implementation, staffing, and resource limitations.
Our priority is to ensure that the programs we do offer maintain the high standards we expect for our athletes.

We NEED Coaches – Now More Than Ever!
📢 Our program runs on volunteers, and with this expanded Spring season, we need dedicated coaches to step up and help. It's going to take a village! If you have experience, passion for the game, or simply want to make a difference, now is the time to get involved! No prior coaching experience? No problem—we’ll provide support to help you succeed.
💙 If we don’t have enough coaches, we won’t be able to take on as many players. If you or someone you know is interested in coaching, please contact us as soon as possible!
Cost:
📌 FREE – Due to league iniative, our Spring season will be offered at no cost to families. We’re always happy to see more kids on the field, and we remain committed to providing a great football experience for our community.
However, this means we have lost our primary funding source for essential costs to kick off the year. Specifically, the Spring Season helps us pay for the equipment recertification that we expect every winter. About 60% of our equipment will be picked up and shipped off to Riddell next weekend to get them checked, repaired, and prepped for the fall season. Historically, the spring season's registration fees help pay for that cost every year.
📌 We will be launching fundraising efforts to help keep our program running strong. We are asking for volunteers to help us organize and kick off fundraising as soon as possible. If you can assist, please reach out! Shoot us an email at jrriverhawks@gmail.com
