The Junior Riverhawks provides a supportive, competitive, and educational environment for our athletes to grow, learn, and excel both on and off the field. We believe in building character, discipline, and teamwork through the sports of football and cheerleading, and we strive to instill these values in each of our participants.
We take great pride in being a family-oriented, community based, non-profit organization with a goal to promote and encourage integrity, character, sportsmanship, self-confidence, and teamwork for boys and girls ages 5-14, living within the Chiawana High School boundaries in Pasco, Washington.
Athletes
Registering your children for football and cheer promotes physical health by developing strength, endurance, and agility. It also teaches social interaction, communication, leadership, and teamwork. Additionally, football and cheerleading teach important life skills like discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. By participating in practices and games, your child will develop skills that can be used both on and off the field.
LEARN FROM EXPERIENCED COACHES
Our experienced coaches teach skills, instill positive values, and foster a love for the game, while prioritizing player safety and well-being. They not only teach the necessary skills and tactics, but they also help players build confidence and self-esteem, keeping them interested and motivated, while encouraging them to take responsibility for their own development. This ensures that players are physically and emotionally healthy both on and off the field.
Our Commitment to Your Athlete
LEADERSHIP. RESPONSIBILITY. TEAMWORK. ACCOUNTABILITY. COMMITMENT. FRIENDSHIP.
These are core attributes that the Junior Riverhawks teach to each of our young athletes. We focus on developing skills that transcend the field of play and build foundations for future success. As certified members of USA Football and Columbia Basin Youth Football (CBYF), our teams are dedicated to providing a safe and positive youth football experience for every young athlete. We want to create a culture at Junior Riverhawks where kids love to play the game. We are honored to provide an environment that is safe, healthy, and FUN.
