The Lufkin Parks and Recreation Department hires part-time, unbenefited Recreation Leaders to facilitate classes at community centers, parks, and the recreation center. The department is currently hiring for the next programming quarter.
Recreation Leaders assist the Parks and Recreation Department in taking a fun approach to public service through various classes, camps, and programs facilitated throughout the city. Recreation Leaders are 1099 Sub-Contractors who offer a service to the community via Parks and Recreation. The scope of services is large, as our mission is to offer programs as diverse as our community.
