Adult Kubb League - Summer 2025

Grab your partner and get ready for some laid-back fun in the sun with our Downtown Kubb League at Water Works Park! This casual league is perfect for all skill levels, whether you're tossing like a pro or just in it for the good vibes and great company. Set against the scenic backdrop of the riverfront, each week brings friendly competition, laughs, and a chance to unwind in one of Minneapolis' most iconic parks. 

All leagues will be casual and 4 weeks in duration at Water Works Park (425 West River Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55401). There will be two league start times available, 5:30pm and 7pm.

League Fees: $100.00 for 9 weeks (*ONE registration per TEAM*)

Summer League Dates: July 8th to September 8th (Match times shift later after the first week of June)

Levels Offered:

• Beginner: Little to no pickleball experience; learning basic strokes and beginning to rally; working on serving and volleying (Skill Level 1-1.5)
• Beginner Plus: Teams that have played in the beginner league or have played socially, looking to build on skills and gain comfort on the court before advancing to intermediate (Skill Level 2-2.5)
• Intermediate: Teams who know the basic strokes and are working on improving consistency in ball tracking, court movement, and strokes; ready for introductory social match play (Skill Level 2.5-3)
• Advanced: Teams working on stroke consistency and accuracy, while building on aggressive net play, court coverage, and match strategy; ready for organized competitive play (Skill Level 3+)

Adult Pickleball Lessons: Summer - Summer 2025

Intro to Pickleball - This 4 week class meets for 2 hours each session. The class is intended for those new to the game of pickleball. Participants will learn the basics of the game and develop skills to advance their pickleball game.

• Tuesdays June 3rd-24th 9-11am Lake Nokomis
• Wednesdays June 4th-25th 6-8pm Loring Park
• Thursdays June 5th-26th 9-11am Lake Nokomis

Intro to Pickleball 2 - This 4 week class meets for 2 hours each session. The class is intended for those who have completed Into to Pickleball or are already familiar with the game. Participants will focus on drills, strategy and games intended on improving your pickleball game.

• Tuesdays June 3rd-24th 11am-1pm Lake Nokomis
• Thursdays June 5th-26th 11am-1pm Lake Nokomis
• Thursdays June 5th-26th 6-8pm Dickman Park

**New** Drill & Play- This 4 week class is intended for players with prior pickleball experience who have a working knowledge of fundamental strokes (dinks, volleys, drives, drops, and serves) and can confidently keep score in both doubles and singles play. Each session will include skill-specific drills focused on technique, consistency, and shot selection, followed by organized match play scenarios to apply tactics in real time

Summer Grass Bocce Ball Leagues - Summer 2025

Step off the perfectly manicured path and into our Grass Bocce Ball League—where the terrain is as much a part of the game as the toss! Held on the charmingly unpredictable lawns of downtown Minneapolis, this league is equal parts strategy, laughter, and lighthearted adventure. Expect green walls of grass, surprise divots, and a whole lot of fun as you navigate the quirks of the great urban outdoors. Perfect for players who don’t mind a little wobble with their win, this is bocce with character, community, and just the right amount of chaos!

All leagues will be casual, 4 week leagues and take place at North Loop Park (731 N 3rd St, Minneapolis, MN 55401) on Tuesday's and Water Works Park (425 West River Rd, Minneapolis, MN 55401) on Friday's. There will be two league start times available, 5:30pm and 7pm and team requires a minimum of two people to participate.

Adult Pickleball Clinics: Summer - Summer 2025

Coached While You Play (CWYP)- Want to take your game to the next level? Join this fast-paced 2-hour session and get real-time coaching during live gameplay from PCI Certified Instructor Will. Play live games while receiving on-the-spot tips to improve shot selection, positioning, strategy, and teamwork. Great for elevating your skills through experience, feedback, and in-the-moment adjustments.

Drill & Play- This focused 2-hour clinic is designed for players with prior pickleball experience who are ready to elevate their game through improved technique and smarter strategy. The session will emphasize refining mechanics for greater consistency and control, with targeted drills to sharpen each key shot. We'll also dive into strategic decision-making—when to drive vs. drop, how to set up points, and smart positioning—followed by guided match play to apply these concepts in game-like scenarios.

*Note*: Specific sessions are broken up by rough skill levels. 

3.0: Advanced Beginner still learning basic skills; struggles with consistency and can make unforced errors

3.5: Intermediate improving control and strategy; can use a mix of shots and starting to solidify court positioning and tactics

4.0: Advanced with strong technical skills; confident with all shots, plays strategically, solid court awareness, and can play well under pressure

Adult Tennis: Park vs. Park Match Play - Summer 2025

Match play series for adult social players at Advanced Beginner - Intermediate levels. Gain match play experience in a fun, team competition environment. Players will compete against other park teams in either singles or doubles. Instructors are on-site to provide assistance with match pairings, scoring, court positioning, and strategy. Players will have either "home" or "away" matches each week at Lake Hiawatha, Linden Hills, Morgan, Pershing, and Powderhorn Park. Adult Tennis Bulletin

During this 6-week session, you will either play matches at Lake Hiawatha, Linden Hills, Morgan, Pershing, and Powderhorn, with the last week being a playoff tournament! Doubles, Mixed-Doubles and Singles tennis available. Tuesdays from July 8th to August 12th (weather make-up August 19th), 6:30pm – 8pm.

Waitlist participants will have the opportunity to sub on teams when needed.

Adult Pickleball: Spring Open Play - Spring 2025

FREE Open Play Pickleball:

This open play format is perfect for players of all levels looking to get into community pickleball and meet new people to play with. It's a great way to connect with fellow players and make new friends in a fun and welcoming environment!

Play Format: All sessions follow an open play format, where players rotate in and out of games with others of similar skill level, providing the opportunity to play with different partners and opponents each week in a fun, social atmosphere. Join us right from the start or drop-in any time during the listed time!

Session Registration: Players must pre-register for each week. Registration opens 10 days in advance. Be sure to sign up early to secure your spot!

Session Levels:

• Beginner: Ideal for new players or those still learning the basics. A relaxed environment to practice fundamental skills and gain more confidence on the court.
• Intermediate: For players who are comfortable with the basics and looking to improve consistency, strategy, and overall gameplay.

Session Levels: Mondays and Wednesdays will flip-flop beginner and intermediate each week

We are using a new system for free agent registration! 

Your $10 free agent registration fee will now allow you to register as a free agent for as many sports as you would like!

To get set up, complete your registration and pay the $10 fee. In your receipt, you will receive links to free agent contact information forms for each sport we offer. Fill out your contact information and preferences on the form for the sport(s) you would like to play. We will share your contact information with managers in each sport that you submit a form for!

By registering, your information will be shared with team managers looking to add players to their rosters and/or subs.

Adult Sand Volleyball Spring - Wirth - Spring 2025

Get together with friends and join a Sand Volleyball League. Leagues are split into divisions according to difficulty. Division description is listed in the bulletin.

USAV Rules are enforced with MPRB modifications. All matches for 4 and 6 person leagues will be officiated by MPRB officials. Matches will consist of three sets with rally scoring up to 25. All 3 sets count in the standings. 2 person leagues will be self-officiated.

Our adult volleyball individual registration program offers an exciting opportunity for adults to join our vibrant volleyball community. Register as an individual player and immerse yourself in thrilling matches, improve your skills, and build lasting connections with fellow volleyball players.

Adult Broomball Spring League - Spring 2025

Join our indoor broomball league to keep the fun going all spring long! Leagues are open to anyone ages 18 and up. Broomball is similar to ice hockey, but is played with shoes instead of skates, uses a ball rather than a puck and broom-shaped sticks versus regular hockey sticks. The objective of the game is to try to score more goals than your opponent. Gather your friends, bring your brooms and hit the ice.

Adult Kickball - Spring 2025

Adult Kickball leagues are a good social gathering opportunity while getting exercise in the great outdoors.
