Lakeshore Middle school Baseball information

First Week of Games: Games will begin the week of April 14. Games will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Teams will only play two of the three days each week.
Final Week of Games: Games will finish the week of May 19.
End of Season Tournament: The season will conclude with an end of season tournament. This will be a single elimination tournament and be held on Wednesday, May 26 l Friday, May 28 l Monday, June 2.
Game Schedule: The game schedule will be emailed and made live on the website by Thursday, April 3. The original schedule will only show games for week 1-3. The second half of the schedule will be sent out after week 2's games are complete. The schedule is done this way in hopes of creating balanced matchups for the second half.
Game Time: Game times for this league will be 6:00 PM.
Lakeshore League: The middle school baseball league is a Lakeshore League. This means that there will be some travel outside of Holland for game days.
Picture Information: Picture information is still being finalized. Once picture days are finalized, an email will be sent to participants.
Game Cancellations: If games are cancelled due to inclement weather, you can view all cancellations on the cancellation page at the link below. An email will also be sent out to all participants. An effort is made to make the call on cancellation by 5:00 PM on game days at the latest. Cancellation Page
Equipment Needed: Participants are responsible for gray baseball pants, cleats, and baseball glove. Holland Recreation will provide team hats, jerseys, catcher's gear, and batting helmets.
Game Jerseys: Game jerseys will be handed out at a practice before the first game.
Special Requests: Special requests for team placement are only granted for siblings or extenuating circumstances.
Team Formation: Teams are formed by school and through the evaluation week. This process is to ensure teams are as fair and balanced as possible. All children who are registered are placed on a team.
