2nd Grade Basketball League
An introduction to basketball game play. Participants will practice the first three weeks and play games the remaining three weeks. This is an instructor led program with help needed from volunteer coaches. Instructors will lead practices with volunteer coaches assisting. Volunteers will coach teams during the games. 3rd/4th Grade Basketball League
Boys and girls will play separately. Participants will practice on Mondays and/or Tuesdays and play games on Thursdays. Teams will only practice in December with games beginning on Thursdays, January 9. Volunteer coaches are needed for this program. Participants will receive a reversible jersey. 3rd/4th Grade Basketball League - After School Practice Option
Holland Parks and Recreation is piloting a new After School Practice option for a limited number of 3rd/4th grade students. This pilot program is being offered for any 3rd/4th grade Holland Public or Home school students. In the future, we hope to be able to expand this option to more players, schools, and grade levels. After School teams will practice at the conclusion of the school day until 5:15 PM. This program is a part of the traditional 3rd/4th grade basketball program.

5th & 6th Grade Lakeshore Basketball League
Holland Recreation teams will compete against other teams from various lakeshore communities on Saturdays. Teams will practice 1-2 times during the week determined by the coach. Boys and girls will play separately. This is not a combined league, there is a 5th grade league and 6th grade league. Volunteer coaches are needed for this program. 7th/8th Grade Boys Lakeshore Basketball League - Individual Registration
Holland Recreation teams will compete against other teams from various lakeshore communities on Saturdays. Practices will be during the week with games played on Saturday mornings. Participants will get a reversible jersey and a shooter shirt (warm up shirt). Current 7th/8th Grade Boys Basketball Information

7th/8th Grade Boys Lakeshore Basketball League - Team Registration
Teams will register at the rate of $40 per game in this format. Jerseys and practices are the responsibility of the team. Games will take place in various lakeshore communities on Saturdays. There will be five regular season weekends followed by a single elimination tournament on the sixth weekend. Teams have the option to register for the 5 game + the tournament option OR the 7 game + the tournament option.
