Adult Pickleball

Holland Parks & Recreation is excited to partner with Zeeland Recreation, Holland Charter Recreation, and Park Township Recreation to offer pickleball leagues and clinics to the greater Holland and Zeeland communities. 

Individual Pickleball Leagues
Join a pickleball league to meet and play with people of your skill level. Each week you will be assigned a court and players to play with for the evening. Individuals will move courts each week depending on how well they do. A prerequisite for joining leagues is that players know a majority of the rules of the game.

Partner Pickleball Leagues
Join a pickleball league to meet and play with people of your skill level. Each week teams will be assigned a court and players to play with for the evening. Teams will move courts each week depending on how well they do. Partner leagues will be any combination of male/male, female/female, or male/female. Teams will be moved up or down league level based on skill level and to promote quality competition. Teams are not guaranteed to remain at the level they sign up for. To the best of your ability, please sign up for your appropriate level of play. View the links at the bottom of the page to help determine your pickleball rating. Partners do not need to register individually for this program.

Brand New Beginners Clinic
Come learn the fastest growing sport in America! In this class we will introduce you to the game of pickleball.  Coaching includes rules, scoring and learning the basic strokes of pickleball. For this class, you will need a pickleball paddle.  However, the class instructors are sponsored by Revolin Sports and will have a limited amount of paddles on hand for you to use if you do not yet have one.  Balls will be provided.

Advanced Beginners Clinic
This pickleball class is geared toward the pickleballer in the 2.5 range.  In this class we will work on adding to the basic strokes of pickleball - serving, returning the serve, third shot drops and dinking. Balls will be provided and we will have limited paddles on hand for you to demo.

Intermediate Power Clinic - 3.0 Tournament Level Minimum
In this 3.0-3.5 level, we will focus on strategy using power shots- such as an aggressive serve, drives, punches, overheads, attacks, etc. This class will help you understand when speeding up the ball is appropriate and why. We will also look at set-up shots, along with a few spin shots. Balls will be provided and you should bring your paddle. Safety glasses are recommended due to this being geared towards power shots, but not required.
