OUR INSTRUCTORS

Theater ~ Jo Gray

For the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of helping students grow through the art of theater. I have produced and directed over 50 plays and musicals for schools, summer camps, recreation programs, churches, and community theaters. Since moving to Holland I've been honored to teach theater and acting for the TRIO/Upward Bound program through Hope College, as well as, for CultureWorks and Holland Public Schools.

Art ~ Rachel Sligh

Rachel Sligh is a life-long resident of the Holland Area, and has been teaching art for Holland Public Schools for 24 years.  She is K-12 certified and has taught all age groups during her tenure at HPS.  She is a wife, mother, artist and sailor.  When she's not in the classroom, she's typically on the water.  She's excited to have the opportunity to branch out and work with the community through classes of art exploration!

Music ~ Jennifer Gietzen

Jenn Gietzen is a music therapist, sound facilitator and a music teacher in West Michigan.  She has been working with kids and adults using music as a tool for growth and development for 20 years.  She loves playing and teaching guitar, piano, drums, ukulele, singing and dancing.  She also loves using sound to create relaxing experiences for people who would like to incorporate more meditation and mindfulness into their lives.
