Rachel Sligh is a life-long resident of the Holland Area, and has been teaching art for Holland Public Schools for 24 years. She is K-12 certified and has taught all age groups during her tenure at HPS. She is a wife, mother, artist and sailor. When she's not in the classroom, she's typically on the water. She's excited to have the opportunity to branch out and work with the community through classes of art exploration!
Jenn Gietzen is a music therapist, sound facilitator and a music teacher in West Michigan. She has been working with kids and adults using music as a tool for growth and development for 20 years. She loves playing and teaching guitar, piano, drums, ukulele, singing and dancing. She also loves using sound to create relaxing experiences for people who would like to incorporate more meditation and mindfulness into their lives.
Sign up to join in the fun! All runners/walkers will receive a finisher medal and a pair of warm winter socks with their registration. The entire route will take advantage of Holland's unique snowmelt system, allowing runners & walkers to enjoy an obstacle and hazard-free course, even in the middle of winter.
